These are really nice clips. They do not hold a lot of hair, just a few strands, so they're more decorative than functional. However, I can easily pull some thin sections from the front of my hair to clip them back. I like the geometric shapes and it's nice to have gold and silver options to match my outfit.

These are wonderful for the price! They are beautiful and the clips are strong. I doubt they will un-clip in my hair because they were tough to open in the first place. They do, however, slide down my hair. I had to use a small rubber hair tie to keep my hair together in then clipped this in my hair. A bit disappointed about that but I wasn't expecting to stay super secure. I have a lot of hair and this fits perfectly if I pull half of it back. Definitely would recommend this!

OH man! I love these clips! They're beautiful to look at, and so easy to use! I was worried the clips wouldn't stay in my unruly hair, but I am pleasantly surprised that they remained in place over an entire day, and needed only minor adjustments throughout. They're quite large, and in spite of being kind of flimsy looking, feel strong, and are visible through my tangle of curls. I would recommend these clips to everyone who wants to wear classy hairstyles with minimal fuss

These hair clips do not hold very much hair at all. If you have thick or medium hair, you will have to use with hair elastics to actually hold your hair in place. Use the clip to go through the upper layers of your hair because that is all that will fit. I wish the clip was more secure and sturdy feeling. On the flip side, they are kind of heavy and will slide down in your hair if you don't have enough hair in them or if your hair is super thin. So, I would not call these clips but I would refer to them as hair "decorations" because they are not useful for actually using as a clip.

Get compliments on these EVERY TIME i wear them. They don't hold much hair so I usually put them over a small clear elastic to make sure the style doesnt come undone. INCREDIBLE value. 3 designs in 2 different colors so one will go with your outfit. Very classy, effortless and feminine vibe. Am going to buy again for friends as holiday gifts!

These were great! Arrived super quickly, very well packaged and individually wrapped so they didn't get scratched. I have pretty thick somewhat curly hair and they stayed in very well. They also look a lot nicer quality-wise than I was expecting given the price. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is that unless you twist your hair around you can see the edge of the back part sticking out on the side. However, this seems pretty necessary in order for them to stay in well so it doesn't bother me. 9/10, would recommend!

It's pretty and what I expected from reading the other reviews here. I'll just note that it has very little grip, and I think that has less to do with hair thickness than texture. In my attached photo, the barrette only stayed up because I'd curled and hair-sprayed my hair, which gave it some roughness to hold on to. If my hair had been its usual straight, shiny self, the barrette would have slipped off in that position. The triangle barrette is best at holding up my hair, and the moon barrette works best as side decoration similar to a clip. I think it all comes down to the design of the barrette: it's very smooth, and the pressure of the clasp is determined by the barrette's shape.

Love the circle and the triangle clips. They hold a decent amount. But if you have thick hair, be prepared for it to keep popping open. Sadly the moon clip (the one I was looking forward to using the most)--holds almost zero hair. And I have thin hair. I can barely put a whisp of hair in--not joking-- before it becomes too much for the moon clip and pops open. A good trick is to secure your hair with regular bobby pins and then just lightly snap in the moon clip on top so it looks like it's holding up your hair. I legitimately don't understand how the girl in the picture has all that hair in the moon clip (unless it's bobby pinned like I mentioned). Maybe mine was just defective? But for the price, I'm fine with it.

some people complain that they didn't hold their hair. But I tried all and base on the picture advertisement, I think the hair clip is fine, and free shipping, so it comes pretty the end of estimated time delivering. I like the purchase, can't find in any stores

They look pretty, but are no good if you have thick hair. The clasp is quite fiddly to use too, so I wouldn't say they were great value for money.

I've seen these online several times and love the way they look. So, finally, I decided I was going to buy myself some. They don't really work for my thick, soft hair. They just seem to keep falling out, which has been kind of a bummer. The clip part is very bendable, and has no grip on it whatsoever.

These are very pretty and I appreciate that there are so many pieces that come in the set, but the clips themselves do not clasp over hair unless it is a very thin section. Even then, they tend to slide down so I found I need to reinforce them with hair-coloured bobby pins. Overall, not too bad.

Took a little longer to arrive than expected due to shipping delays related to covid, but seller got back to me right away when I asked about the item. Then it arrived the next day!
