I love Black Dog Bay!
Thank you Beth Kendrick for bringing your readers back to Black Dog Bay. I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of these novels, and loved Once Upon A Wine!I think this could be read as a stand alone book, but there are many characters that pop in, so it may help to read the first three in the series.I loved all the characters in this book - Cammie and Ian's chemistry can be felt off the pages, while Kat's mid-life crisis (in the early 30's), can also be felt. Kat and Scott's issues brought some real life drama to this happy go lucky novel. Now that Cammie is firmly grounded in Black Dog Bay, I'm hoping she and Ian pop back into the next novel (here's hoping there will be a Black Dog Bay #5).Definitely recommend to any chick-lit readers, and everyone who wants to return to Black Dog Bay!

A thoroughly enjoyable read.
I bought this book because whenever I'm in the mood for chick lit with strong and appealing female characters, Beth Kendrick delivers. This book was no exception. The story was easy-going, the characters like able and relatable, and the time I spent reading it was completely relaxing and enjoyable. So, if you're looking for a good women's fiction book, don't hesitate to pick Once Upon a Wine.

I Love Beth Kendrick
This was good light reading for someone who wants some realistic problems in interpersonal relationships, which I do. I find Ms Kendrick's novels refreshing that way. Her characters are their own motivated, interesting, friendly people, and Black Dog Bay is a world I want to vacation in again and again.

Love the Black Dog Bay series
Once Upon a Wine is no exception!!! While there are always new characters and new storylines, we get to revisit old friends that we met in previous books. The vineyard added a fun new locale to Black Dog Bay. The twist with Jenna was unexpected, maybe she will be the focus of another book in the series? I wish the town of Black Dog Bay really existed - break up or no - it would be great fun to visit!!!!

I really love wine country so I was excited to read a book that intertwines wine, love, and having your own business. I couldn't finish it, it became predicable and was just "ok". Not a horrible read just not exciting and couldn't hold my attention.

Enjoyable but not quite as good as other Black Dog Bay books
Another short yet sweet book in the Black Dog Bay Series. Although I enjoyed the book, I didn't get as pulled in by the characters or storyline as I have with the other books in the series. I was also slightly disappointed in the lack of tie back to other significant characters in the other books. Overall, still a worthy read.
