These WiFi smart lights work great. Currently using Tuya instead of Feit app just because its got better integration to other platforms. A lot of comments about connectivity issues, but I do not have any. Almost all "smart" devices run on a 2.4g wireless network because these networks penetrate walls much more effectively. Some routers/access points do not have radios that play well with with IoT devices. If you are having issues its probably just your router not the smart device. These devices are super basic.

One thing to know if you already have this brand is that the spacing isn’t the same on all their strands - some are further apart than others do double check the details like how many lights per foot if you’re trying to pair with an existing strand. These are exactly as described and holding up well!

After two days, one-half of a string came on by itself, and in some animation mode I had not used. The remote control would turn on the other half of the string, and turn the unaffected half of the lights off, but would not control "independent" part of the string. The app had the same effect as the remote - only controlled half of the string. The only way to turn the lights off was to unplug them. Feit Support responded three days after I contacted them, telling me to return the string. In the meantime, I tried to swap the first bulb of the half of the string that wouldn't turn off. Even though that particular bulb was always on, replacing it fixed the problem. A second string of lights started doing the same thing, but with a different animation. Replacing the first bulb in the section that could not be controlled with the remote or the app fixed the problem. Other things like increasing the wifi signal, changing the electrical source of the affected string to an entirely different circuit, deleting the string from the app and re-adding it, did not help at all. Leaving this lengthy review in the hopes that it helps someone else - Feit support could not figure it out.

Took these bad boys to Rocklahoma for the front porch of my tent. Worked great! Great amount of light for pouring drinks and "passing things around💨"! I'm going to put them in my living room till the next camping trip... Getcha Pull!

The first time I bought these, after a few weeks the unit would just start blinking on and off in the middle of the night. I did all the stuff from the FAQ and it kept happening so I contacted the company and they told me to bring it back to the store I bought it from and swap it out for another. Second unit lasted a little over a year - just until it was out of warranty - and then just completely stopped working. I reached out to the company again and they were no help at all. Eventually I made enough noise that they issued me a refund, except they shorted me the full price of the unit and then argued with me about it. I have a few of their other products and they're mostly fine but having to deal with this level of terrible customer support - especially on something that costs $100 - has ensured I'll never buy anything else from them. For comparison, both Cree and Phillips were much more helpful when I needed help with their products.

Read a bunch of reviews here regarding WiFi connectivity drops and a faulty remote, I use the app, which works perfectly, and have a mesh network which has dual band 2.4 and 5. The lights connected once and haven’t disconnected, no WiFi issues, and the app is great. Super solid.

Purchased two sets for our gazebo. They are really heavy duty and look amazing! Very pleased.
