Better than expected
I wasn't expecting much from this belt considering it cost only $20 but since the only maternity stores I knew of where I live no longer exist, I was really desperate to purchase something quickly. I work 12 hour shifts & stand/walk for very long periods of time as well as do a lot of house work when I'm off so I really needed something to help support my back. My belly popped a lot earlier because this is my second pregnancy & I'm currently 25 weeks, 5'1", 139 pounds give or take a couple pounds. My lower back was starting to ache & I was very hesitant to purchase a band not knowing if it would even help but it has, especially when I wear it at home. During work, I feel like it helps but toward the middle of the second half of my shift, I can feel the lower back ache more BUT for me it's honestly much better than wearing nothing at all. After my lunch break, I take it off when I expect to sit for more than 30 minutes or I have to loosen it to accommodate my meal but once I'm up for my last rounds I definitely have to put it back on again. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now & so far haven't had any problems with it moving or needing readjusting (except when I either make it too tight, sit, or eat). The only issue I've had is the the area on the inner band where the velcro attaches appears to be stretching out from the frequent removal of the velcro...I'm just hoping it will hold out long enough until I give birth, but so far have been happy with my purchase.

Good belt for the money
I have used this belt for a few weeks so far. The belt is a soft material and a light pink color sk it doesn't show through your clothing. The velcro makes it easy to adjust as you grow bigger. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I felt that it showed through some of my clothing. It looked fine under most of my outfits, however there were some days where I was debating between the support and an outfit. I also didn't like that it didn't come with instructions. After watching a few YouTube videos and showing it to my doctor, I find ally figured out the correct way to wear it (which way was right side up and how tight to make it). When I showed the support to my doctor she said it looked very supportive and that it should relieve my pelvic and back pain. I went to a surgical store to by compression stockings that my insurance covers and I saw a very similar belt to this one selling for $80. This belt is a quarter of that price and is great if you don't have insurance because it is affordable and does the job! When I had a concern about the product, I contacted the seller through Amazon. The company answered back immediately and made sure I was fully satisfied with the product. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone experiencing pelvic or back pain in pregnancy!

I'm really enjoying this so far
I am in my 2nd trimester and think this really seems to help with lower back pain. I can wear it all day at work and it helps a lot when I'm standing most of the day. There are a few things to know:You probably don't want to wear this under super form fitting clothes if you don't want it to show (which I thought was obvious, but I saw some reviews that say it looked funny under clothing, but so far with wearing loose clothing I haven't had any problems).Secondly, this helps with your posture and may not be a great choice if you are wanted to slouch around on the couch, I usually just use my pregnancy pillow in those instances. And the way this belt fits, I can totally see why people don't like it for sitting around the house. The last thing I could see being a possible problem in 3rd trimester is how difficult it makes going to the bathroom (at least with the underwear I've been using... maybe it's just because I've been wearing granny panties since they are super comfy and I'm pregnant and don't care. HAHA)Overall this seems to be a high quality product that does what it is designed to do. My back is very happy I invested in this and it didn't break the bank too much.

Helps relieve SPD pain!
In the beginning of my third trimester I started to develop mild to moderate symphysis pubis dysfunction pain, especially at night when I would rotate from side to side while sleeping. The pain was significantly less during the day when I was up and moving, but worse at night when I was trying to sleep. This maternity belt is adjustable and allowed me tighten or loosen as needed to provide just the right amount of support to help pull my hips back together and lessen the strain on my stretching ligaments. The only "downside" to this maternity belt is that it is not all that flattering under clothes. I was assume this is the same for most adjustable maternity belts though - the tighter you squeeze the more other tissue is displaced. Imagine a pair of jeans that are too tight and the "muffin top" look. I'm not overweight, 5'7" and pre-pregnancy weight 140 lbs, but when I pull this belt as tight as I like it to help my SPD pain it looks like I'm wearing pants that are a bit too tight. Not a major issue for me, as the pain relief grossly outweighs my desire to look flattering at this point in my pregnancy. This belt is perfectly comfortable for me while standing, sitting or lying down so overall a 5 star product!
