Can the 14ks be interlinked? To use the 37/80 padlock on one link.

Yes, the extra-long link on one end, that allows the pass-through of the other end link, to allow a padlock to be attached, was on my 14ks 6foot chain, purchased in 11/22.

Will the hole openings take a 3/8” lock?

Yes with plenty room to spare, after I put 3/8 drill bit back in the index, I checked the clearance with a 1/2" drill clears with room to spare.

abus 8ks----will one end fit into the other?

Steve A's answer is correct, the others are wrong: the link at one end of the chain is longer than the other links, allowing the link at the other end to pass through it so you can put a lock on it without having to lock two links together.
