The screw is barely long enough for the bolt to hold it on the bike. The braking power is marginal compared with other clamp brakes. Likely the rubber on the brake pads are too hard/slippery to make for a decent brake.

I didn't come with all of the parts needed to install it. I needed to buy additional hand brake in order for it to work.
