Value for the money

The MIP Thorp .050" Hex Driver is even better than described. It is replacing a "top-of-the-line" hobby diver that I paid more for which twisted the first time I used it. The MIP Thorp driver on the other hand is better in every way. It is not round so will not roll away, the ground portion of the tool is much shorter than other tools so it is less likely to twist, and it feels great in the hand.The size of the driver is not printed on the handle as in the photo, but is instead on a small strip of paper that you heat shrink to it, not a perfect labeling solution, but it works.

Do you want the best? Just buy the MIP tools. Yes, they are twice as expensive as cheap ones but they are well worth it with tough tool steel and precise sizing. When you are using a .050" driver you want it to be perfect and these are. My only complaint about MIP tools is they don't label the sizes but give you a cheap piece of paper and some shrink wrap - I found some cheap alloy collars from overseas that you can buy but honestly how hard would it be for them to stamp or print the sizes on their handles?
