I bought this as a xmas present for my son and birthday present for a few of his friends. The media could not be loaded.  Looking for a present for my grandchildren...something a bit different to play with outdoors. I was really pleased to find these on Amazon.There are a few different ones for sale but I opted for this one as it seemed a better quality. I am so glad I did.The adventure kit comes neatly packed in a white box with pictures of children on an adventure.The items included binoculars, compass, whistle & wind up torch..& magnifying glass..complete with colour coded water resistant adventure kit bag.I bought a green one for my grandson & a pink one for his sister ( everything has to be pink atm😆)The quality is surprisingly good.On receiving the kits both grandchildren were surprisingly excited & couldn't wait to go to the woods for an adventure !This is a really good present to occupy children outside. They spent time looking for insects etc... helping each other..brilliant team effort!The sizes were perfect for little hands.10/10 for play value. good valueGood quality (obviously plastic though !)Great gift.

Yes, it comes in a small box but the contents are great for the price - hours of entertainment for foraging around the garden or out and about searching for bugs. Bought for a 6 years old's birthday, know he will love it.

This is really good value for money, if you are looking for something for a young explorer, bug hunter or nature lover. I brought 3 (pink, yellow and orange) as readymade party bags, Worked out so much cheaper than buying explorer bits separately.Was impressed by the quality, considering the price.- The colour of the items match the colour you order. For example order the pink set and receive pink binoculars, pink magnifying glass, pink whistle, pink torch & a pink bag. The only item that doesn’t match is the compass, this is black in all the bags I ordered.- The binoculars pivot in the middle so can be adjusted to suit most children- The torch is manually ‘rechargeable’ and doesn’t need battery. Unlock the trigger (not sure what you would call this), squeeze & release multiple times to charge. Locking the trigger back up once you have finished charging is a bit awkward for small hands, purely because of its size.

Great starter kit for outdoor adventures. My 3 year old loves it! The binoculars don’t have much magnification but fine for that age. Impressed with the compass and flashlight. It does come with a whistle so be aware if you have toddlers

Arrived in good condition. The kit is comprehensive and fun. My son loves it. He made full use of it during our trip to the Botanical Gardens. For a kit with so many tools in it, it is at an affordable price. A good buy!

She thinks it’s the best thing ever

It all arrived in a very small package, but all the pieces, parts were included. I purchased this item for a five year old child. It is not expensive. If he continues his interest, either in the binoculars, magnifying glass, or other items, then they can be upgraded over the years to align with his interests. This was a little stocking stuffer item, not meant to be a true Christmas item, so we will see what he thinks on Christmas morning.The item definitely was received very quickly and packaged perfectly.

Pros:+ Quite possibly the only decent toy binoculars on the market.+ Flashlight works well and can be hand-powered by kids.+ Compass and magnifying glass work as needed.+ The whistle doesn't work the greatest. (Good for indoor sanity as a parent.)Cons:- All items feel like they're made with fairly cheap/brittle plastic.- Compass is a little overcomplicated for a child (and some adults.)- The whistle doesn't work the greatest. (Bad for outdoor sanity as a parent.)Notes:I was fairly amazed to discover some of the features of this kit after somewhat blindly purchasing it just for the child-sized binoculars. The flashlight has to be the best item in this entire thing, as it's hand-powered and in a child-friendly way.
