The Way of the Samurai Paperback – May 15, 2019

Some books you just have to keep to re-read. Others might not hit you as much one like this. Love this book full of wisdom.

Great book about bushido and how it pertained to samurai life. It was a bit repatitios, but very well written. Currently, I am reading budoshoshinshu, which I like even more. It flows better and is easier to understand, but either way, both are great books and I highly recommend either if you're a samurai fanatic like me.

I got these for my son who turns 16 this July. It's a nice little supplementary gift with a masculine drive. The quality of these books is super and I am very happy with the purchase.

Its got some good stuff in there. Its a bit of a dry read and can get a bit boring. Still enjoyed it enough and came as advertised! I prefer other Asian philosophy books over this one.

The writer speaks with such eloquence… so refreshing after all the lazy slang and mispronounced words of today’s conversation. Even well educated people are so lazy about self expression they eliminate parts of contractions! This man puts true self expression along with respect and honor back into speech

My grand daughter loves the book. What more can be said. The was and is being read.

The book itself is gorgeous, but more importantly the book itself is just what I wanted. Informal and a bit filosofical.

A very interesting little book written over 100 years ago, that gives you a good introduction to understanding the Japanese character and beliefs.The author was a highly intelligent man who lived through the transformation of Japan from a feudal system to that of a modern country in a very short space of time. I highly recommend this book to any student of martial arts.
