KEYESTUDIO W5100 Ethernet Shield Without POE for Arduino R3 Mega 2560, Wiznet W5100 Ethernet Network Micro SD Card Slot for Arduino to Internet

Came bundled with the Keyestudio Uno R3 and both work perfectly. The printing on top of the board (pin numbers, etc.) are a little harder to read than on boards from another manufacturer, but a bright light and a magnifier helped. This is a good product at a good price and I will buy these again.

Used this to get an arduino talking to an industrial plc over modicon modbus tcp, possibilities are endless for custom sensors etc, description mentions that all these boards have the same Mac, if it causes me problems or I'm unable to change it will update and lower my review.

keyestudio W5100 Ethernet Shield for Arduino came nicely packed without any damage. This ethernet shield will allow Arduino Mega 2560/ UNO R3 to connect to the internet. And this ethernet shield based on the Wiznet W5100 ethernet chip. Using the Ethernet library we can write sketches which connect to the internet using the shield.This ethernet shield contains a micro-SD Card slot which can be used to store files for serving over the network.

I bought the cheaper Smraza board sold on Amazon and it did not work so I returned it and bought another Smraza. The second one did not work, either, so I returned it, too. This one works perfectly!

Running the test code - worked great. Tested my code, worked twice then quit responding. Went back to the test code. It would not run.

As long as you don't put a micro SD card into the board it works okay. With a uSD card the Ethernet stops working after a handful of transactions, then the board has to be power cycled to get the Ethernet back. So, only half the board is working. 2.5 stars, rounded up because Amazon.

Works great.

Plugs onto an UNO or Mega 2560 and simply works without fuss. The W5100 chip handles all of the networking protocol stuff by itself, without taking up precious RAM or processing power from the Arduino. A W5500 would be even (slightly) better, but either variety are leagues above the more common ENC28J60 chips which leave it all to the CPU instead.This board worked first try out of the box, using the standard Arduino "Ethernet" library. No issues.

スタンドアローンでは物足りなさを感じたのでこちらを接続してみました。導入は簡単で、UNO R3に重ね差し込むだけで終了。オリジナル互換なので後入れのライブラリ等はなく、IDEのスケッチ例のEthernetからサンプルスケッチを選ぶだけです。webserverを選択して書き込みし、PCのブラウザで見るとアナログポートの状態値が表示されリアルタイム更新されています。設定については、プログラムの最初の方にMACアドレスとIPアドレスの設定があります。DHCPが無いのでIPアドレスはここで固定アドレスを設定します。IPアドレスは接続するネットワークの設定に合わせて使われていないアドレスの指定が必要です。MACアドレスについては自宅のLAN内での実験程度ならば設定されている値そのままでも大丈夫ですが、仮値なので必要ならば使用していないネット機器のMACアドレスを拝借しましょう。特に苦労も無く不足もなかったのでとても安価で満足です。

Arduino IDE 標準スケッチ例にある Ethernet で動作確認をしました。ESP32 や ESP8266 の無線環境に適さない場所でセンサーエッジのプロトタイプ検証に役立っています。アミルホイルを巻いた簡易ノイズシールドボックスで利用していますが、現在120時間を超す連続通信（180秒毎の間欠通信）で安定動作を確認しました。

Unfortunately I cannot go lower than 1 star. Equipment did not work and I tried a few weeks to get it running and figure out what I was doing wrong. Turned out I didn't do anything wrong, the shield just didn't work properly. Led's were all blinking nicely but that was it. Bought an original shield from Arduino, plugged it in and it ran exactly with the same code I used before and it was running perfectly right from the start. This piece from keyes landed immediately after in the garbage.
