The new nets (2024) version lock in the open position with AUTHORITY! Awesome design change. Once opened and hearing the click sound you know it will not close when trying to land your catch. When it's open and latched now, you have to really overcome the latching hinge to close it. I love this new design. many thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍

This is my favorite fishing net I've ever used (not just kayak specific nets...). It's extremely well made and the design makes netting a fish with one hand a breeze. Worth every penny IMO. The ONLY thing I could think of that would make it better would be if it floated.

Seems a common issue, but product arrived damaged. The box was in perfect condition, but it was way too big for the product and had no packing material inside. Net hinge was gouged up which I could probably live with because it worked still, but the metal handle was dented/bent, and showed stress marks in the metal. Almost seemed bent from the warehouse but with how it was packed who knows when it happened. Product seems really nice and I’m excited to get a replacement, it is larger than I expected but I think it’ll be perfect for my kayak. Mainly just hope Amazon gets the new one to me in good condition.

Yakattack logo Sticker on the net was peeling off but still a great net very sturdy and big enough. just wish there was a snap to lock the net from folding
