Great rub on stain
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love the mini wax rub on stain for my projects large and small. I recommend it.

So sad that this is discontinued
Easy to apply on a sanded down acacia wood nightstand. Looks more like an almond shade which is what I hoped for. I'm very sad that Minwax has discontinued this product. Easy cleanup.

this stuff works
i wanted to add a hardwood floor to a dollhouse thati'm building, so i scribed the lines in the mdf base, sanded it, painted it white, sanded, and applied this stain over top. it took three coats but it came out beautiful after giving it two coats of mod podge gloss.

I Hate Painting
So when it came time to refinish a small wood shelving unit, I had to try something different. Although I never heard of Minwax Express, I had used plenty of Minwax products with no complaints. The order arrived on time and, since I had already sanded the unit, I went right to work with Minwax Express. The stuff has a consistency like ketchup in a squeeze bottle but will a bit more oomph on the squeeze part. It went on very fast and easy. My shelf unit drank it up too. Two applications of oak color and the unit was looking very nice. Next would be three coats of gloss. I recommend this stuff, especially if you hate painting. Almost no odor. Easy to apply and clean up. Dries fast. Looks very good (professional results, probably not but really cannot complain). I'll use it again.

Easy!
I used this on a dowel for macrame. It goes on smooth and easy and dries fast. The color is so much nicer than the plain dowels and hoops used for macrame. Game changer!

Poor business practices!
Product came defective already opened and used! Tube of stain had Product all over it then taped back closed and sent to me! I payed full price for a used product!

Product is good, but did not like the color.
Easy to use product, but the color is a little misleading. It was much lighter than expected. I'd recommend that you go a shade or two darker than you think you will need.

Love it!
I saw a lot of reviews mentioning that this product was messy and created a lot of waste. I didn’t find that to be true at all. I used it to stain wood rounds that I use to make signs and I found that it fit my needs perfectly. Definitely required two coats but the dry time was so fast that I didn’t mind at all. Would definitely buy again and try other colors.
