Is there a maximum rpm that the wheels can take? My grinder’s spec says it has a an speed n0 of a max of 4500 rpm. Is this too fast?

The manufacturer states on the label, "Intended for use on a six inch bench grinder or buffer motor turning at LEAST 3,000 rpm."

I think they are the same product, a few different companies make a similar product. It should come with 2 wheels. 1 with grit and one to polish. Great sharpener!

is the paper wheel going to load up with paste and stop working? if so how is the paper wheel rejuvenated? I see the cotton wheel has a process .

The compound (paste) wears off and is reapplied with each sharpening. It does not build up. Eventually (200 sharpenings) the wheel gets somewhat loaded with metal, which is cleaned up with sandpaper. Full instructions are included with the deluxe kit.

Are these wheels long life or do you have to replace them?

these wheels will last a long time,how ever it is important to let the tool do the work.it is not required to apply alot of pressure to the wheel when sharpening.the wheels will also come with grit to recondition the wheel with.videos can be seen on you tube to demonstrate that process as well as the manufacturer site.
