uneven inside of the skillet
Hi there,recently I bought this iron pot when i visited my daughter in the states. I did not open the box until I got home in toronto canada. Unfortunately I am very unsatified with the finish of inside the skillet. the inside the skillet is not even. there were three dent parts. I don't understand if this is your finished product. Why can't you make finish the product and make it even around? Now I am canada and I don't know how can i get the product replaced. Please let me know the seller's response. I try to load the picture to show you of the product uneven part. somehow the website couldn't load.Hope i could get a replaced onethanksJada

Great Wok!
This is a late review but we wanted to give this wok a good run before posting the results. I bought this for my husband who loves cooking Asian dishes, especially stir frys. With the first couple of uses he had a slight issue with sticking, but with a little extra seasoning it worked extremely well. I have made the best fried rice AND fried chicken in this wok. After using it several times, it still looks great. We highly recommend.

Excellent taste of food. Different wok really cooks same ingredients different
Fantastic wok! If you cook a lot of Chinese food, this is the one. It has 锅气, the flavor found only in restaurant cooked meal. I have been returning a number of woks to amazon due to all different reasons: Size, durability, materials, heat distribution... but this wok hits all the marks. This is exactly what I have been looking for: a large, even heat and easy to clean. ON TOP ALL, the high heat and iron of the wok made the perfect condition for my stir fry to taste like food from Chinese restaurants.

Rough surface
The wok is heavy which I like as it holds the heat at even temp. The wok was very rough when we first received it so I had to sand the bottom so it would not scratch the glass top stove. I then sanded the inside by hand with a 80 grit sandpaper to get it smooth which took about an hour as I did this by hand. I then washed the wok with hot soapy water and dried it and then baked in oven for about 3 hours giving a few coats of cooking oil during that time. Maybe 4 coats. Let it cool down in oven then checked it out and it was good to go. This is a great wok with ample room to feed a large family and would recommend to friends to buy. I do think the manufacture could have made the inside a little smoother.
