Regret. So much regret.
I regret this purchase so mich. even at just under $30. I can only imagine paying $60+. These honestly sound great after a little breaking in. The noise isolation is very good, and the sound is loud and crisp... when the drivers are actually making it. The cable quality on these things is worse than a pair of Ali-express Apple knock offs. I’ve seriously had gas station headphones last longer banging around loose in a backpack and getting trampled by my toddler. The first indicator was static I only experienced while also charging my phone. The next was false signals from the remote hanging up on calls, skipping tracks, rapidly pausing and playing again, activating voice commands, and generally making it seem like my phone was haunted. They shorted on me almost immediately. Within 3-4 days. I was dealing with it doing the thing everyone does with shorted cables, holding them in just the right position. Just days later they shorted again near the remote. I honestly think I have a short near the jack and at both sides of the remote. I’m only putting these things through light use sitting at my desk. But this brings me to my next complaint, and the real kicker. The in line remote is cheap garbage. It feels cheap. It’s poorly designed. There’s no real physical indication what button your finger is on, or even if your fingers are on the controls. The whole thing is perfectly round and practically smooth. I fumble all over trying to feel out the edges to guide me to volume and just roll the thing around in my fingers under constant pressure to make sure I hit the button. I’ve given up trying to feel out the middle button and its tiny nub. You will too unless you read Braille. So get ready to have to look down at this thing to use it, but then realize that even when looking down at the thing it’s faster to reach in your pocket at pull out your phone. My last complaint is about the wiring of the in-line remote. I am fairly sure it’s the root cause of the false signals I was experiencing. I was getting them before I ever found my first short. My volume up button seemed to be sending the same signal as the center button, and nothing from my volume down button. Admittedly they’re worse after finding multiple shorts in the cable, but the problem was still there before finding them.If you’re of the mind to hack things open and re-wire these buds properly(maybe just a simple direct line) the drivers are great. But then you’d be better off re-wiring busted versions of higher end buds anyway. Otherwise they’ll just end up in the trash sooner than later.

A good buy for the price.
I'm pretty happy, and that's hard to do. Sonically, these are relatively similar to 1MORE Piston Classics, but with a touch clearer bass and a brighter overall sound. Straight out of the box the cymbals were a bit harsh and probably 3-4dB louder than I'd like, but after some burning in the harshness has receded and now I'd classify them as crisp. I expect with further burn in that will become sweeter. Very nice soundstage. Bass transients are strong and clear, having nice definition.I wouldn't call these U shaped or V shaped for frequency response, perhaps J shaped. Comparing them to speakers, these seem more like studio monitors, where the Pistons are perhaps a bit more forgiving like home speakers. It's too early to tell about durability, but with a metal housing and cable reinforcement at the needed places, they should hold up well.

Great until they die
Great for 8 months. Then one of the headphones stopped working, the headphones would randomly go to "fast forward only" mode, and when I wore them they would constantly trigger Siri. The functionality declined so severely at the end that I couldn't even watch a movie on my phone with these earphones. These are great for six-eight months but nohing after that.

Treble heavy.Don't last.
Did not last. Good clear sound. Weak bass.treble heavy. I was careful with them. I kept them in their little case.one year light use and the sound is shorting out on the right side. Bummer.

Total garbage
Garbage. First pair failed after about 4 months. Second pair failed after about 10 months. Avoid these at all costs. About what you'd expect given where they're manufactured...

Not a long term product
Seemed to work well for a while, but after a few months started crackling and disconnecting me from calls. Don't waste your money!!Just reviewed the 1 year warranty and it is a joke. I'll write it off as a total loss!
