I haven't finished this book yet but I have read a couple of others of hers. I found these by accident and I love them! She has an excellent writing style that is just perfect for "relaxing with a good book" type reading. I said no violence in the review, but, of course, it is a murder mystery and the murder is described but not in such graphic detail that I would consider it violent. There is no sexual content in the ones I've read which is also what I was looking for, if I wanted to read that, I'd buy a romance novel. I want to read for enjoyment and try to solve a mystery and this is exactly what this author provides!

New Favorite mystery writer, Laura Childs
LOVE Laura Childs' writing style! Descriptive. Informative (following her "tea store" mystery series). The Charleston setting is an element that draws me to this series as I love that city of the Old South. Indigo Tea Shop pays tribute to an elegance that appeals to me. Highly recommend if you want a modern yet elegant setting with a mystery that is very difficult to determine who-dunnit! Read On!

Great value and in near brand new condition
Very happy to host found the first three books of Tea Shop Mysteries in a trilogy. I discovered this author and collection this past summer and the beginning books I had not read. So this purchase was perfect.

Easy read: always a murder in the first chapter
I have read all of Laura Childs' tea mysteries. Easy read: always a murder in the first chapter; takes the entire book tosolve the murder. Lots of good recipes at the end. Bought this as a gift for grandchild who hopes to open a tea houselater in her life.
