Maidenform Women's Low Back Bra Converter

After reading a very compelling review from another purchaser, I took a chance on this product for my bonus daughter who also shops at Torrid. She is a size 2/3 & the plus size extender fit her wonderfully. I don't think I'll be covering any new material that the other reviewer hasn't already said in her incredibly well written review but I'll lay out the jest:My daughter is self conscious about her weight & I recently talked her into shopping Torrid, where she found a couple bras that fit her well. I'm getting married in April & this is written the month of Jan. The bra selections were perfect for our intended purposes (daily wear), but we neglected to think about the back of her maid of honor dress. It's from Azazie & has a somewhat low "V" cut in the back. Her brand new bras she finally feels confident in, don't work at all for the dress due to the low back. I came across a wonderfully written review from a fellow Torrid shopper & purchaser of this product who raved about it. I bought it & gave to my daughter to use for her dress fitting & it was PERFECT! We imagined having to pin her bra so it wouldn't show but the extender did its job really well.As another reviewer mentioned, this extender has just 3 clasps where the Torrid bra has 5. That was non issue. The 2 unused clasps didn't bother her skin at all & we couldn't see anything sticking out that wasn't hooked. It's just an overall really good fit. Her bust is 50" / waist: 44.75. The plus extender fit her well without being too tight & doesn't show under her Azazie brand, Grace style dress at all & bust/waist of tat model dress are very fitted.After reading the other, top rated review, I took a chance on hoping we wouldn't once again be on the hunt for another bra. It's hard enough to find one we like, let alone find one we'll use only for special occasions. This was a perfect & very affordable alternative. Hands down, I'd recommend anyone looking for an alternative to buying a new bra for a lower back top, to try this 1st. You may be surprised. We certainly were!

My wedding dress had a lower back. This strap worked so I could wear my normal bra and not have to spend a ton of money on a specific low-back bra. I'm a larger woman and it worked well for me.

I got this to wear with my low back prom dress, unfortunately the straps were too long, so it didn’t work out for me, even when adjusted to the shortest length :( for reference I wear a small and a 32B

I got this to adjust my bra for a bridesmaids dress that had a V in the back and the front. It prevented me from having to buy a brand new bra! Not the most comfortable solution but wasn't super uncomfortable! A great cheap solution if you don't want to buy a new bra!

My daughter is a 36G and a size 8/ she has a narrow waist. This didn’t work. Was too tight around the waist. She couldn’t use it

I have been looking for something like this for awhile that is cheap but works well and this product is just the thing! They wrap all the way around and add a comfort to wearing them. The hook and eye ends have three latches so it isn't the most comfortable if you are wearing a bra with two hooks. I bought these for a wedding that I was in and the straps stayed in place the whole day. I have worn these multiple times and the material has stayed intact! 10/10 recommend this bra strap extenders

I read another review before purchasing that said that the product broke upon the first use, but since the other reviewers didn't report problems, I took the risk.Sadly, I was in that minority and mine broke before I could use it. Even sadder, it broke as I was getting dressed to go out, so I was stuck with my bra strap showing in the back. The hook part on one end just came off completely, leaving an empty strap with no means to attach it. It didn't look like it was even glued in, let alone sewn in, so I think this one must have slipped by QA.If you're buying this, try it on before you actually need it. That way you have time to get another if yours fails too.Two other things to note about the product:1) If your dress/top is tight, this will probably show. The clasp in the front doesn't lie completely flat across your middle, so it'll probably be visible.2) The spacing between the hooks and eyes on the clasp didn't match up at all with my VS bra. The one I intended to use it with had much narrower gaps between the hooks than the low back extender. It would have made the straps balloon out a little if it hadn't broken before use, so that's something to keep in mind as well.The good thing about all this is that Amazon refunded my purchase immediately, and the process only took about ten seconds. I think the product would have been effective if it had worked, so I'm not writing it off completely, but keep in mind the potential for failure!

It did the job of lowering my bra strap for a tear drop open back. And it was comfortable to wear.

Small amount of adjustability. Comes in 2 parts. Only one side is adjustable. Too loose when tightened, too tight when doubled around again. Garbage.

This is a perfect solution to a bra problem. We needed them for 4 bridesmaid dresses that had a lower back where the bras showed. This was comfortable and solved the problem.

Does the job right

Buena calidad. Es muy chico. Soy talla 36 de blusa y me queda muy apretado. Pensé que sería más amplio ya que tiene opción de agrandar pero no es así, aún agrandando es pequeño. Tampoco quedó en el brasiere de dos broches, este producto los trae más separados. Antes de comprarlo hagan preguntas al vendedor, yo no lo hice.
