My four year old son is obsessed with Magna Tiles, he gets them out every single day and builds tower after tower, but he started getting frustrated when he would run out of tiles so I went in search of a magnetic building block that would be similar but maybe not quite as pricey. These may just be it! This is a small pack and if they hold up well to my 4 year old then I will be going in for a larger set. I liked that these had an open center compared to the magna tiles because sometimes when he is building and wants to move a piece it can be tricky when there is nothing to grasp, with these he has the center to grasp into. My only concern is if they break apart easy because I also have a 1 year old son who we have already had a battery swallowed ER visit and I don't need a magnet too! So only time will tell how well they hold up to my kiddos using them day in and day out. No question that they love these though!

Both of my kids (4 and 6 year old) absolutely love these magnets, they don’t go a day without busting them out. I’m not sure why other reviewers say the magnets aren’t that strong, but maybe they are comparing them to the name brand version which we’ve never had because they are way too expensive. But these work just fine, we have no issues building with them. If you are getting these for the first time, I would recommend buying a bigger set with more magnets or two of these sets so your kids can really build bigger structures. With my kids these end up under the couch or scattered in random places so easily, we can never have enough. I’m glad this set came with a pamphlet of multiple ideas, my son was getting tired of building his usual houses and towers. You really can’t go wrong with these, these would be a fool proof gift for all young children. It really encourages their imagination and find motor skills and keeps them busy, at least for a little while. I’d recommend these over the over priced name brand any day!

The kids love these magnets. Each magnet has 2 colors on it; e.g., yellow on 1 side and orange on the opposite. I liked how the actual magnetic part is on the inside of the plastic material. They seem sturdy and sticks well together. These are a great addition to add to other magnet sets. I can not build more items or layers with the extra magnets.
