Stainless Steel Capillary Metal Tube Pipe - 8 mm x 6 mm ID 250 mm L 304

I was able to Fabricate 6mm ID Bushings for the ABS Plastic attachment points on my PWC Seat Frame where the Lateral Arms attach on either side (the existing holes were begining to get Hogged-Out / Enlarged by the 6mm x 1.00 Hardware securing them).Randy AKA: randog311

All tubing ODs and IDs have a tolerance. This capillary tube seems comparable to other products although the tolerance is not specified in the description. Bought this to make some bushings to reduce an 8mm bore to 6mm. The ID had a slip fit and the OD had to be reduced a bit for the 8mm. This was not unexpected. Be aware that due to the tolerance this could vary somewhat. Seems like good 304 stainless.

Really nice quality item. This is a seamless tube with outer dimension 8.0mm ( 7.99mm measured with two different calipers) and inner dimension 6.1mm after deburring the end. Works fine for my application where the outer diameter was important to be able to fix to 8mm ID bearings.

Had to replace a pipe in a fancy foreign coffee machine. Good luck finding metric pipe in Home Depo or Loews. This was a really great and easy solution. Exactly what i wanted.

No I did now when I measured it was not 6mm it was 6.33 and when you're building something that has to be 6mm it has to be 6 mm so I don't know why it wasn't 6mm when it said it was 6 mm it sure was 8 mm though outside diameter sad deal wasted time and waste of money for me oh well PS 5.99 or six point two that would have been okay

You know... the measurements are approx. I really needed it to be 6mm ID but when I got it, I measured it at 5.86mm. Well, I needed it to be 5.94mm and up to 6mm. Now I need to find a 15/64ths or 6mm drill bit... which is a little annoying. The OD measured from 8.04 to 8.11mm.Seems like a good piece of metal otherwise.
