Great reception. Fast internet.
Easy to install and setup. Replaced an older usb WiFi with this one and the results were great. Over 600mb down through 2 walls. Old one was 300 at best.

Tiny wireless adapter
My wife and I have a Compaq laptop running Vista we purchased in 2007, and the internal wireless adapter/card went out. This seems to be a common issue with HP/Compaq computers over 2 years old. We initially had a Linksys wireless adapter, but it was large and bulky, taking up too much space. The TRENDnet Mini, on the other hand is perfect. It's small, compact, and actually runs better speeds than the Linksys. We highly recommend it.It is now 2013, and we are now using the adapter on a new Windows 7 Dell Inspiron i660s series Desktop (Black) that came with no wireless adapter. Works great, but just be sure to configure the wireless network connections on the two wireless settings on the control panel as follows:1. Open Network and Sharing Center2. Click Change Adapter Settings3. On each wireless connection right Click4. Go to properties5. On the Networking Tab click configure6. Click the Power Management Tab7. Make sure the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is UNCHECKED.If this is not done, each time your computer is in sleep/hibernation mode, or turned off, you will have to physically click the adapter each time upon start up in order to reconnect to the internet. Making the configurations I laid out above, will allow the computer to automatically reconnect to the internet. Now I'm not sure if this problem is isolated to the Windows 7 Operating System or Dell Inspiron i660s series, but I don't remember having this problem with other computer models or operating systems I used this TRENDnet on. Just an fyi....

Works well
My laptop's built-in wi-fi adapter became flakey so I opted for this little device, and it works perfectly. It's very small so I'm not afraid it will get smashed into a table, etc. I picks-up my router's signal from all over my house and connects to both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSID's which is actually an upgrade for my laptop - its built-in adapter only connected to 2.4Ghz. No complaints.

Plugs in and I'm online in no time!
I was worried that the Adesso PS2 to USB might not work for my older PS2 Keyboard since reading some reviews about adapters. It is working so far!I haven't tried using three buttons at a time for anything yet. I read a review that said it didn't do so well with using a combination of keys.It takes sometimes a couple of times of hitting a key or two to function, then again I'm not sure if it is the adapter or the TrendNet KVM switch that it is attached to??? I wonder if the KVM switch is taking awhile to switch over. The TrendNet wifi USB is working wonderfully and no problems. It gets right online at the full speed of the G router. The usb is the N type and the router is a G type and not of the same brand. I am glad that this Usb wifi is backward compatible and will eventually enjoy an N router when the prices come down a little more!At first setting up the KVM(Usb type,TK-209), PS2-to-Usb adapter, and usb wifi(TEW-648UB) to two different computers did not start up easily. I pressed buttons and it wouldn't recognize the keyboard on either computer. I tried to use the mouse and it wouldn't recognize it either on either computer. A few minutes later it started to recognize all. Just follow all of the instructions!I am happy and content with all three of the purchases, Yay!

Terrible product
Doesn’t work as advertised. I achieved max speeds of up to 120 Mbps on a custom built desktop PC running the latest version of Windows 11. This is a 150 Mbps adapter being falsely advertised of being capable of going up to 300 to 867 Mbps. Don’t buy this. Spend a little extra money to get something that will actually work.

Gamble Paid Off
I bought this to get around the whitelist in the BIOS on my HP dv8t-1200 which prevents booting when any unapproved wireless adapter is installed and it reliably performs as advertised @ 867Mbps. I would prefer 1Gbps this is a big improvement over the factory installed Centrino adapter @ 300Mbps. Maybe improvements are in the offing but this is a huge step in the right direction @ a very reasonable price no less. Thank You Trendnet

Wow...Highly Recommended !
Can't say enough good things about this item! Although I've not had it long, so far so very good. My HP DV6000 lost it's wireless ability (like every other DV6000 that HP ever built..) and all Hp offers is to replace the motherboard for 250.00. I replaced the internal wireless card but that didn't help, just more wasted money. So, I stated using an older, much larger USB wireless adapter. It worked but the signal strength was very weak and it struggled to stay on line. Read reviews on the Trendnet and decided to give it a shot. Installed on Windows 7 super easy and is pegging the signal meter. Signal is coming in loud and clear! All I've lost is one USB slot but that's way better & cheaper than anything that HP offers for DV6000 owners. Still got 2 USP slots to work with but at last I'm on line again and the signal strength is probably better than it was when the original HP internal wireless was working. Love to buy stuff that does what it claims to do. Thanks Amason...thanks Trendnet!
