Christmas present
Quality of the videos produced is not quite as good as I thought it would be, also you need to buy an SD card when you buy the camera to be able to use it at all it has zero internal storage not sure if tells you that anywhere. Other than that a tidy little camera I'm not mad at it!

Yeah, not great.
So the picture quality isn't too bad...at least on a computer screen, but to be honest that's the only good thing tarin can say about this. The sound is awful, the remote is crappy, the protective case is not really what tarin would call protective, and it can often take about half a dozen attempts to actually delete a video, so if someone makes naughty vids of you raiding the kids snax and you grab the camera to delete the evidence, know this, the evidence will not vanish easily, so before you gloat and say "ha!what evidence!" it will probably be quicker to swallow the SD card because by the time you have actually managed to delete it the kids will be staring you down...and also may be middle-aged themselves. It would probably be ok as a kids toy but that's about it. Best bet, buy a better camera from a reputable shop where you can try the thing out, or simply stay away from the kids snax and buy your own, you never know who's watching or what they are recording you on.

Nothing Special
Very average quality. External microphone does not work. Does not come with SD card. Black plastic thing around lens didn't fit and i don't really know what its for. Kind of wasted my money. Camcorder of 30 years ago would give this one a run for its money. Looks great in pictures and maybe thats what sucked me in.Go to an electrical appliance shop and spend your money on something more suitable for an adult than a child

Appalling piece of cheap equipment
Charging mechanism faultyBarely able to charge. When camera did switch on there was a terrible background buzzing noise on the recording. It may have been a one off, but I would avoid buying this camera.Excellent refund service from Amazon though

Avoid like the plague
I returned this camera for a full refund due to innumerable problems with it - I bought it to film youtube videos with but am getting much, much better results with an iphone and much less hassle. Here's my original review, which goes into detail about how bad this product is and what my issues were:One week after buying a £20 amazon tripod and this camcorder, the camcorder screw thread and the screw at the top of the tripod are locked together and I cannot get the camera off after days without problems- so either the tripod or the camera have design/quality control issues - but I suspect the camera, given the huge number of issues I've had with it The rest of this review was written before this paragraph, but basically I'm going to contact amazon today for a return and full refund then buy something better! Here's a bullet point description of my feelings:1) Poor manual.2) Not getting great pictures3) External mic inconsistent, sometimes background noise, sometimes not. Sometimes it doesn't work at all4) To sum up, I'm thinking this will go back to amazon and I'll buy a name brand instead. So below are my frustrations in detail before this addition:It could just be my lack of mechanical aptitude , but 2 days after receiving it, I was still finding it hugely frustrating due to the lack of detail in the accompanying manual (and incorrect detail too, I'm finding) and the fact that I'm finding the camera itself is far from intuitive.First of all, when charging the camera before use, the manual says "the CHG (presumably 'charge') lamp turns red when the battery is charging". No, it doesn't, it is illuminated in GREEN. Secondly, after trying to charge the battery, I found that it was inserted in the camera (in the factory) UPSIDE DOWN. It took around 2-3 hours to charge fully - not unusual for a first use of a device. I've found that battery life is very short, up to an hour on and off use, then a 3-4 hour charge is needed. Also, If you've read the detail before buying (as I did), you'll be aware that you don't get an SD card for the camera, so ensure you get one first.Secondly, the menus. There is a huge lack of detail about how you access these and it took me until the third day to work out how to access and activate the playback menu, so I was initially forever having to remove the SD card, transfer my test footage to my PC to look at things like framing, sound etc. It really, really shouldn't be THIS difficult. As I say, totally non-intuitive.Then we come to the external microphone. This includes a battery to power it, but it was still sealed in shrink and inserted wrong way round. Fine, I'm used to the 'Made In China' (i.e. on the cheap in the east) approach the manufacturer is using now to keep costs/price down. However, when I tried and use the external microphone, it didn't seem to work. Looking at a question and answer about this here on the Amazon product page (which is full of reviews and questions about 2 other products - dog tripe and hamster cages - I kid you not), there are instructions from a (presumably former third party) supplier that go into turning off the sound record mode when you use the external. They are slightly ambiguous and so far, neither setting seems to work. Hmm....one reviewer here says that the external does not work and I have to say that one the one indoor video clip I've shot for my youtube channel has a lot of background noise from using the internal mic (I live in a quiet-during-the day area, so if this is the light breeze outside being picked up, I'm in trouble). However, on the third day, I managed to get the external to work- how, I don't know, On the external mic, it is better than the internal, but it does need the 20db setting to get a decent volume (this is meant to be for sound at a distance), but unless you're a loudmouth (like the people next door to you or upstairs if you live in a flat), you need this setting and speak up. Even this has inconsistent results - initially, on flipping to the external, I was getting no background sussuration, but 2 days later I'm getting it again, so maybe a better external mic is essential. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. Also, the battery chamber on the remote is virtually impossible to open - with these things there is a knack, but I got it open (eventually) by accident rather than design. Not knowing which way up to put the big digital camera battery when I reinserted it I was lucky and then the remote seemed to work (it too was wrong way up at the factory, I guess). I've found that the remote is also inconsistent, which makes it pretty useless. See the other one star reviews here. This is an unbranded product from a factory where quality control is poor and/or build quality is inconsistent/bad. Will be returning for refund! Also, the price has gone down by £55 since I returned mine, which i think speaks volumes

Excellent for families!
Love it! I got this camera as I was tired of my son taking away my phone for him to take pics or videos all the time!!! So I got this for the family and we all have had so much fun. It is easy to use, perfect for beginners. My son is 9 and he loves it, now he can record or family days outs and make nice videos. It comes with a good microphone and it is so cute to see him all Pro carrying out the camera hehe. I didn't like the charging port it uses but anyway nothing major. I posted some pics and you can see the functions it has available.

Good camera , good quality and very easy to use and change settings have it on a tripod
the quality of the camera is good it has settings w have it set to had rather than 4 k as had is fine but you can change the settings we connected it to a tripod and do the videos and use the remote overall it very handy much easier than a phone and nice to have two batterys too so if one runs out you can always switch. we use it to make dog training videos I also might use it with a green screen and lighting in the background in the future. use a 64 GB sd card

Petit, léger, micro deporté
The media could not be loaded.
