Don't think plates are ceramic
All of the documentation that come with the product mention non stick coating- it does not say ceramic anywhere. Questions posted are unanswered. I returned this and got another brand that is actually ceramic. Very misleading as I'm pretty sure it is toxic Teflon coated.

Ideal for singles
Makes an amazing panini! Low wattage but powerful. A little smaller than I thought it might be, but for the price it will do the job. Not something you would want for a family or high volume of cooking.

Broke immediately.
Got this for my husband for his birthday. First time he took it out of the box and opened it and the side hinge broke immediately. Shoddy craftsmanship!

Very light weight
It was much smaller than I thought it would be and plates weren’t removable for easy cleaning.
