This vinyl does work, but I had some issues at first. I've only used my Cricut for decals once. I usually make tshirts, so I had to use some trial and error. I was actualy so disappointed with this product at first, I was going to give it a bad review. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. I decided to read some reviews and the product description again for a little guidance, and I was able to figure it out. Here are some instructions I came up with to help.* For my Cricut Explore Air 2, I set it to the dot between iron-on and light cardstock* You have to keep the shiny side up, paper side down* DO NOT reverse the image (used for iron on)* Use the weeder not to weed away the extra, but to hold the image onto the paper backing.* The weeder doesn't really work to remove the extra. You are essentially removing stickers from paper, so you can just peel it off with your fingers. But HOLD THAT IMAGE DOWN so it doesn't come up with the weeding.* Be SUPER CAREFUL not to allow the removed weeded pieces to overlap back onto the image. It's really sticky and will get stuck to your image, potentially causing damage. I cut the extra off every inch or so to prevent this from happening.* Then I used regular Cricut Transfer Tape to transfer the image. I scraped over the image really good with the Cricut scraper tool before carefully removing the tape.My project came out really nice. I'm using it on my mailbox, so time will tell if it holds up to the outdoor elements.

TIPS FOR USE
Reflective vinyl is VERY hard to use. BUT there are a few things you can do to make it doable. The material is a thin stretchy membrane that wants to re-adhere to itself even when cut, has a thin glue membrane that doesn't always cut through, is stretchy, doesn't like sticking to its backing.1. double cut. Make a customer material that does every cut twice. Add a box around your design so you can pick the entire thing up including the box.2. REVERSE WEED - Cut, transfer ENTIRE thing to transfer tape, put the transfer tape sticky side up on the sticky matt to weed. The transfer tape will hold things together WAY better than the carrier it comes on. Use one tool to hold down small sections when ripping away the parts you are weeding.3. Be comfortable ripping the parts you are weeding. The material is not very strong, it is easier to do in parts by ripping the vinyl, be ok with it ripping and going back to pull up those parts.

Good looking vinyl, but make require some trial and error
I bought this to make a decal for my car to advertise my business. No instructions were included in the packaging and the website for the company simply said to use normal vinyl cutting settings. I used the same settings that I use for Oracal 651 and it kinda worked, but kinda didn't. It did make it through the material and not through the backing, but weeding it was very difficult, especially on some of the finer detail elements. Once it was weeded, however, it was great. It transferred on and off the transfer tape easily and looks great on the car, especially when the light hits it and it reflects back.My advice is definitely to do some test cuts to get your pressure and speed set properly. Otherwise, great stuff.

Worked perfectly
Used to print numbers and worked great.Remember to set the type of paper to this, product, Vinyl sticker, and the cut depth will be perfect.
