Glancing through the top reviews most people seem to want a mousse. This isn't it. I wear my hair fairly short and I find this product provides weight without attracting dust - ie I can use this stuff without having to wash my hair every day because of dirt attraction.I was surprised at how much conditioning it provides. I use a small amount - I dip one finger in up to the first joint. There are hundreds of applications in the jar at that rate.If I apply to dry hair it adds control without compressing my hair. When I use it wet it compresses my hair until the water dries and then I get a nice well controlled poof.I especially like it is totally scentless.

Its just not my cup of tea. Quality doesn't hold as well and I'm not huge on it. It does get the job done though. What doesn't work for me very well may work for you though! Worth a shot for anyone I would say.

It is perfect if you don’t like gel that sticks your hair like glue yet still effective at keeping your hair do for the whole day.

When I first used this product, I was quite satisfied. However, I soon realized that it didn't hold my hair in place for very long. So, I now have to augment this product with hair spray for better results. I was trying to find something other than the hair spray that I could use. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

This gel does not hold hair at all. I wouldn’t even call it soft hold either. Absolutely zero hold. My hair falls out in pieces once everything dries. Only lasts for a few hours instead of the entire day. Yes it’s natural, unscented, and easily washes out, but if it can’t hold hair, then it’s completely useless. Do not get this product if you need any type of hold or need something to last the entire work/school day.

This is great stuff, I have curly frizzy hair that I keep short and wavy-combed back and I got tired of using all the thick pomades (Suavecito, Layrite, etc) Those are great products but they are tougher to get into your hair and they STAY in your hair unless thoroughly washed out. This gel holds well, has no scent and my hair actually feels softer since I've been using it. I can sleep with this stuff in my hair and not feel all greasy the next day, doesn't flake up either.

This is the only hair product I use now. I purchase this every single month now cause it's affordable and works like a charm. My barber used to sell me something called "Layrite" and that never worked on my hair. I've even used American Crew, Wax and Gentlemen Republic and felt like I had to use a handful just to keep my hair down. I just take a knuckle of this and it does the job.Update 12/27/17: Had to demote from 5 star to 3 cause of the price. This was a decent deal before when it was $10 but now it's practically $6 more and just not worth it. They could have at least upped the ounces but it's still only 4oz which will only last about a month. Not a fan of spending $200 a year on hair gel
