If you have the older set you will be disappointed with the fit and finish of these. They don't have the same heavy feel as the old set, the finish inst as refined and the edges on the older set is much more rounded and softer.roughly 15 year old knife of same model on the left/top compared to the new.

Was attempting to match resisting set. Even though name and description were the same, these are of lesser quality

We had a set of this flatware for many years and always liked the heft and simple, elegant design. The handles are easy to hold and don't twist in your hand. They are sturdy enough to dig out hard frozen ice cream without bending. We were missing a few pieces due to loss over the years, and so decided to buy another set. The new set is almost exactly like the old set, just a little thinner. They stack together fine and you don't really notice the difference if they're set at the same table, but if you handle them and compare, the new ones are noticeably thinner and lighter. We use the old ones for scooping ice cream because the newer ones might possibly bend. It's not a big deal most of the time, but just be aware that they're not the same as they used to be. The metal is great quality though and hasn't corroded or stained.
