Ich liebe die Romane von Agatha Christie.Auf Deutsch habe ich sie alle durch und versuche mich nun an den englischen Ausgaben.Hier habe ich nicht darauf geachtet, dass es sich um eine gekürzte Version handelt.Ich habe es meiner Tochter (Klasse 8) gegeben, sie hat es auch gut bewältigt.Schwere Vokabeln wurden entfernt bzw ersetzt. Die ganze Sprache vereinfacht, für Schüler super zu verstehen.Zusätzlich noch einige Seiten mit Erklärungen.Gut gemacht.

Meet Poirot, a different person in some ways to the TV hero. Yet the story captivates and leads you in many directions. I would agree that this is Agatha’s best.

This book is simple for those new to the English language; however, it should only be used for reading practice. If you want to actually read the book, then buy the real story as it was written. I bought this book for a class and I felt so lost and it was because so much information is omitted to make it easier to read. It takes away from the story and leaves you even more so in the dark.It is still a good book, but it's not enough to say you've read the story without getting the full picture of things. I wanted to read the story, therefore I was very disappointed in this version. Again, it is good to practice reading in English, but terrible if you want to know how the story actually goes.
