Great lil fire pit. Fit 5 of us comfortably around it, and gave us some heat and the feeling of a fire. Easily transported, lightweight, and looks pretty good. When you can't have a real fire camping, this worked great.

This is the most simple, lightweight, and puts out a ton of heat! Absolutely amazing!Just wanted to update this review. This is literally the best gas fire pit I could’ve ever purchased. At times I actually need to turn it down because it gets so hot. Takes to chill right out of the air!

We purchased this to take RV camping since some campgrounds don't allow fires. I thought I wouldn't like it but absolutely love it. The main reason besides convenience is not smelling like smoke, bringing that inside your RV. Love it.

The performance, appearance, heat output, and size were ideal. I wish I'd bought a fire pit like this for camping sooner! I love the pumice rocks, which seem nearly weightless. The whole unit packs up very nicely for transport. My photo doesn't do it justice; the quality of the flames through the rocks is excellent, and it throws off a good bit of warmth.Once you get the knack of this, it is terrific. The price was also competitive when I bought it. I withheld a star because the setup instructions were needlessly complicated, requiring a lot of reading -- and you MUST read them because the control is not intuitive. The rubber-like knurled knob rotates freely unless you squeeze it (safety misfeature or broken??), and nothing on the control wheel aligns with the indicated markings ever (it is a possibility that mine is actually broken). I'm still not sure how to get the piezo starter to work consistently, so about one out of four times, I still have to use a lighter.Otherwise, I can recommend this as a budget unit. I will update if it doesn't hold up with use.

Now that there is basically a burn ban every year all year it really puts a damper on camping! So went camping a couple weeks ago with friends and they pulled one of these out and it made all the difference. Pretty darn close to the real thing, minus the smoke and smelliness and exertion of a real fire. I do miss the crackling but it’s better than not having one. So we had to get us one!! This thing Puts out great heat, we had it in the lowest setting. Love that it has an auto igniter which worked great each time. So easy to use! And we are excited to also use it at home in our backyard, even on our deck!! Love that it comes with a cover and carrying straps! The user manual it comes with is for a different brand of fire ring so doesn’t apply. Which is weird! but it’s really easy to use so no biggie at all. Also we were able to cook our hot dogs and s’mores easily over it and they were very tasty!!
