Finding myself in need of sports bras I have tried several different styles and I will say the front zips all need to work on the zipper design. I find that they like to unzip themselves and the band around the underchest area does not necessarily meet a comfortable requirement!

Love the no-pinch zipper flap, the hook, the shape & comfort, BUT it comes unzipped!
I have saggy, mom boobs, so if anyone can relate, I hope this review might help you! Upon considering breast surgery, I was told I would need a few good front-closure sports bras. Before then, I didn't even know such bra existed (sheltered, I know).I bought 5 front-closure sports bras and want to compare / contrast them so you don't have to buy so many to find which one (or ones) you want. If it helps, here are my opinions (and I didn't get any of these for free of discounted, by the way - paid full price!):1.) Jockey Zip-front bra (This Bra) Padded inserts for flattering shape, this bra WOULD have been my favorite of them all because of the no-pinch cloth flap under the zipper, coupled with the silver hook half way up the zipper, which is a HUGE help in trying to zip this by yourself, BUT I found the non-locking zipper to be a pretty major setback! As in, the zipper comes down by itself! I alleviated the problem by wearing another bra under this one and that seemed to reduce the strain enough so that the zipper stays put.2.) Wanayou Zip-front Bra ( Women's Zip Front Sports Bra Wireless High Impact Active Yoga Sports Bras (XL:Fit 34D,36B,36C,38A,38B,38C, Purple) ) claiming to be for "post-surgery" I got the purple one but it is more of a "crayola" true purple than the mauve-purple shown in the seller's pics. I like the zipper covers on the top and bottom which are great for comfort, but a little lumpy-looking under a shirt. The pad inserts are nice to give a little shape and the zipper is amazing for reducing the dreaded uniboob! It is also one of the best for support, but I would still say only low to medium impact for smaller cupped women. As a D-cup, I wear this bra either doubled up with another bra or with a Boobuddy ( Boobuddy Adjustable Breast Support Band Sports Bra Alternative, Pink ).3.) AM Clothes zip-front bra ( Womens Racerback Wirefree Sports Bra, 34C/34D/36A/36B/36C, Rose Red ) - Anyway, this bra is so similar to the Wanayou zip-front bra, that I had to check the packaging to differentiate. Much of the same applies: It has nice zipper covers on the top and bottom for comfort, but a little lumpy-looking under a shirt. It has pad inserts for shape and the zipper reduces the dreaded uniboob! It is also one of the best for support, but I would still say only low to medium impact for smaller cupped women. As a D-cup, I wear this bra either doubled up with another bra or with a Boobuddy.4.) Fruit of the Loom Clasp-front Bra ( Fruit of the Loom Women's Front Close Builtup Sports Bra, Black, 36 ) With SIX clasps, this all-cotton bra seems sturdy, but provides little to no support. It's very comfortable and feels much more like a sleep bra than anything you can actively wear during the day if you want your breasts to not sag. It's not padded, just lined with a white cotton liner fabric. With my d-cup breasts, I wouldn't wear it for exercise of any kind, even if doubled up. Best left in the bedroom.5.) Carol Martin Full Freedom clasp-front bra ( Carole Martin Full-Freedom Comfort Bra -36 Black ) which is more of a sleep bra than a sports bra but with a 4.3 stars out of 2,000 reviews, I bought it anyway. Wins the award for the most comfortable, forgot you're wearing a bra! But it has zero support and although the lace flap covering the claps is a pretty touch, it does make it a little difficult to hook all 5 hooks with the lace in the way. That being said, I have worn this bra to bed every single night since I received it!I am also including pics of the bra closed and partially opened, so you can see how much it actually pulls my breast together and it might give you an idea of the strength / support, I hope. Also please see the picture showing that there is no zipper-lock mechanism! *PROBLEM* Anyway, since shopping for bras when you have "mom boobs" is a tough decision, I hope this review helped!****UPDATE****I've uploaded another photo showing how the zipper's stop is ineffective and the zipper "slips" making it difficult to solve this problem yourself without someone else's help... not a situation you want to be in, so maybe this bra isn't worth the trouble.

Not suitable for post surgery compression usage
My oncology surgeon recommended this specific bra to wear post lumpectomy. I had tried it on prior to the surgery and thought it wasn't easy zipping up but still manageable. I noticed another brand I bought had a little hook that you can hook inside the zipper part to make it easier but this one didn't come with it. Well, after the surgery I had very little strength in one arm and it was impossible to zip up the bra myself. Long story short, as a sports bra, yes I would recommend as the material is comfortable, however, if your doctor asked you to order sports bra for post surgery compression, then no, I would not recommend.

Definitely hold them in and feels supportive
Bigger cup sizes would be helpful

Lightweight.
It’s a lightweight sports bra. Good comfort.

Great fit but hard to close
I really like this bra. Good fit and support, plus the fabric is nice and it’s comfortable. It’s just hard to hook and zip… hook loop is very small and there’s no way to zip it unless it’s hooked. I hope I become more adept because I like the concept and everything else about it!

Lovely bra, but be careful with sizing
After having major breast reconstruction surgery, I found myself in desperate need of a compression bra that I could live in for the many weeks of healing time ahead. I ordered several different bras with the features I need most. These particular features are: stretchy fabric that will provide superior support and compression while maintaining absolute comfort (since I need to wear the bra 24/7 except for showers) and allowance for drains in each breast. I also required a front closure and found this bra has a wonderful little clip that holds the bra together while you wrestle with the zipper. Yes, I had many special moments trying to zip the bra up!!However, if I rate the wrestling factor between 1-10, 10 being the easiest, this bra would rate a solid 8, compared to the bra my surgeon sent me home in, it having front hook and eye closure with a wrestling factor of a very stressful 1. The two other styles of bras that I’ve purchased are similar to the hook and eye closure in the front, as well as the stress of putting these things on. Agh! Forget it.So back to this bra….i found the sizing listed with the bra purchase info to be off a bit. My size is not even listed so I went with what I normally wear. It was very small. I used it because I needed it but found myself wriggling and pulling at it and the need to take it off completely unless I wanted to scream. It was little, but honestly everything else about the bra was nice so I ordered one size up for the next delivery and I could not be happier with it.I should also note that it has removable pads inside the bra. They come out easily and can be replaced just as easily. They are nice to have if you want a little extra coverage while wearing thin-material shirts or dresses. One other note on this bra, I haven’t had any problems with the zipper coming down or sliding off at all, even with the smaller sized bra I have, but I did make sure that I locked the zipper once the bra was on.I hope this helps others in their decision on whether or not to purchase this bra.

Very soft and comfortable
I really liked these bras for when I had a lumpectomy. They are soft and supportive but not too tight.

More snug than I would like for daily living but...
For running and other activities this bra should hold you in place. If you are looking for good support without an underwire you may find this too snug to wear all day.

Found smaller than expected.
Bra is supportive, but I would recommend ordering the next size up.

Fits much smaller than should

Order a size larger than what you measure at
I ordered the nude coloured bra in a medium. I followed the measurements, and I can’t get anywhere near zipping it up. Unfortunately I need it for surgery although I won’t be able to use it.

Size up
Based on other reviews I opted to size up (according to the sizing chart I should me a medium but I ordered a large) the bra is comfortable and has a little hook half way up the the zipper in case it in zips. It is classified as medium impact and it is defn not for high impact it is more low/med. I like it because I hate struggling with putting on sports bras at the gym.
