This product is so cool for kids. Every kid in our house from 16 months, 2 years old, 4 years old, 9 years old, and 12 years old have played with this and enjoyed it. The pieces come apart, so it helps smaller kids with hand and arm muscle development and hand-eye coordination. The knives are actually rather sharp, which is why I deducted 2 stars. For a children’s product, I expected rounded knife ends that were not extremely hard plastic material. That being said, however, the hard plastic adds to this product’s durability. Everybody knows how rough kids are on toys and this has lasted. The Velcro isn’t peeling off. Nothing is broken. They get stepped on, stomped on, thrown, ripped apart, forced back together, the dog even tends to carry the lobster and crab around in her mouth. They just don’t break. There are so many pieces that play can last for an hour or more. The colors are bright and I enjoy the use of the primary colors on the toys. This is not only a toy, but a very good learning tool for smaller kids.

My kids have a play kitchen and they absolutely love using their imagination and playing with it. This velcro food is so perfect because they can slice it and serve it. I love that the egg shells can be "peeled" off the eggs and you can shuck the corn. The set comes with a cutting board, plate and play knife so they can "slice" through the food!Whenever you slice through the velcro food it makes this satisfying noise, so cool! There are 24 types of food and it's a 30 piece set that can be broken down into 67 smaller pieces. There is really a good variety of food and it's a great way to talk about nutrition and work on food aversions. Overall, this is a brightly colored and fun food toy for my kiddos. They love it!

This set is so mind blowing awesome because it is so realistic!! I have never found a set that has actual cracking egg shells and the eggs even unvelcro open and have a yolk inside! Also corn that you can shuck! And a banana you can peel! One of the best pieces from this set is the crab that comes apart in 3 pieces! This set is full of amazing velcro pieces of food! They are so much fun. This is definitely the most fun pretend food that we have found this far. The velcro sticks well and the colors are super vivid and are super fun to take apart and out band together!!!

My girl have a lot of fun. I know she’ll be playing with it for a long time. She seem to imagine that she is a "chef" every day, she uses these items in her toy kitchen and pretends to cook. The knives are really durable. Don't worry about that. This play food set has a nice variety of different food from seafood, to fruits and fast food like pizza and hot dog as well. Fruits and vegetables are easy to grasp with small hands. Most items can be "cut" in half and Velcro are strong enough. Bananas, eggs, and corn can be peeled into several pieces. So cute.She cut pizza there. She like pizza all the way especially this one. It is really surprising and so realistic! Meanwhile, I also like the attached bag. I teach my kid how to store her own toys. Generally speaking, I like it! Value for money, and would recommend it to my friends!

Over the years, I have purchased several sets to go with my granddaughters' play kitchen. This one seemed to be an instant favorite. My granddaughters are 9 and 5 years old.
