Second time getting one of these suckers. Leather bound and sturdy.8 leaf page groupings, so 16 pages per group; the pages have SOME texture to them, so it works well for pen or pencil.I took my old one with me everywhere and it held up for the 10+ months its been in my cargo pocket hiking, walking nyc, and a couple mosh pits.Its slightly wider than my cellphone and perfect size for the Precise pen I use with it.The pages are a little thin, but its really only when you have light from behind the pages that it gets bothersome. Unless you press hard or have a pen that bleeds a lot, you wont have much of a problem with the page thickness.
