3 Compartment Food Container

I got these for my kids’ lunches. They fit nicely in a standard sized lunch bag with room for a drink. My 5&6 yr olds can easily remove the lid (I had them practice before school started). I bought a kid’s bento box last year and my daughter couldn’t get it open or close it by herself and bc it was so expensive I wasn’t willing to buy 2, so I had to wash it every night. These meal prep containers are awesome. They don’t take up too much room, fit on the dishwasher top rack, and if I skip the dishes one night bc I’m exhausted, there’s clean ones in the cabinet. There’s enough room for a whole sandwich, cut in half and stacked, a whole sliced apple, and a handful of peanut-free trail mix or granola bar, etc.

I bought these to take with us on an extended vacation. The idea was to use them as storage for our leftover restaurant meals in our cooler. That way we are saving money by not leaving any leftover meal for the restaurant to discard and could reheat at our next location. I am also planning to visit local food stores to take advantage of their "food to go" section or salad bar. Their containers are usually flimsy and I don't trust them to transport. These containers will fit my needs and exceed my expectations on quality! These containers appear to be very sturdy and even though I have not put my plans into place yet, I have checked them out and am confident they will do exactly what I expect of them. The tops stay closed and I love the sections to be able to put different food in each. I especially love the fact you can microwave them. They are disposable but I think I will save some to use to freeze meals that I make and give to an elderly relative.

***UPDATE- I contacted the seller and and received a replacement within two days! Packing issue has been corrected, new shipment came in perfect condition. I really like these containers and since seller customer service was fast and very efficient and am changing my review to 5 stars!**** I paid full price for containers! I like the containers however 2 of the lids were cracked upon arrival. I did contact the seller so we will see what happens. They microwave well, I do remove the lid. Great for meal prep, size is perfect. Lids seal very well and can be difficult to remove but that does not bother me. Hopefully the lid issue is corrected... I really want to order more of them and change my rating of the product.

The product is okay but nothing special. Quality feels average, and the material could be more durable for the price

For some reason I thought I wrote a review already, but I guess the product was so good I wrote a detailed review in my brain and never posted it. When I first found these Tupperware containers on Amazon the first word that comes to mind is, “relief”, for the price, the quantity was just what I needed, I had my fingers crossed in hopes that they would arrive exactly how I imagined they would be, Excelcior!! They did... In the past I’ve spent an arm and a leg for just seven days worth of bento boxes, that ultimately cracked and melted and were almost IMPOSSIBLE to fully clean. Not only is that not the “case” with these, (pun fully intended) being that there are 10 here enables me to Prep both breakfast and lunch when needed. The compartments are the perfect size and as far as the caps are concerned, they are indeed leakproof, as well as microwave proof. Meaning you don’t have to worry about sticking this thing in the microwave with the cap slightly on it just so the food heats up faster, and the container becoming deformed and its melting into a complete oblivion. The only complaint I’d have is when I clean it, it definitely comes clean as far as getting stains out of it that leaves behind oil‘s and other undesirable food bacteria, however it holds onto the scent of the dish soap. Which has always just made me feel a little uncomfortable. So I wash them, of course they have the scent of the dish soap in them no matter how hard i scrub, so. I take them and warm them up in the microwave with a little baking soda in it and pour it out into the sink and then clean it again with water and order to prepare my food next, I just don’t much like the idea of eating dish soap. Other than that I love this product! Highly recommend it very durable I’d say you could even take this camping if you wanted. Two thumbs up to the plastic molders at simple houseware!

So if you are like me and constantly loose tuber ware or the press and seal contains or leave one in the fridge at work for 6 weeks only to remember to bring it home and get it washed because you are out only to realize it has started growing it's own eco system...these are for you. I suck...and when I mean suck...I'm horrible at meal prep and remember to bring my containers back home. At a $1 a piece these things are pretty awesome. Now they are not water tight but I leave mine level at all times but if I forget to bring it home and it starts growing it's own eco system...now I don't feel so bad for throwing it out. I've been using them for about a month now and been using roughly the same 5-7 ones (minus the ones I have had to throw out) and put them in the microwave daily...they don't warp and fit in my meal prep lunch box perfectly! Also, I put them on the top and bottom of the dishwasher and they still don't warp...i love these things...no more wasting money on the Glad containers!!!!! yay....unless i want soup for lunch...then I'm SOL.

This item is very nice. It helps with saving time with meal prep and it’s pretty sturdy when you click everything together it’s nice that it seals up after you put it in the microwave a timer or two though it loosens up so the integrity of keeping it sealed is gone, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for. It’s a good product.
