Nature's Day: Out and About: Spotting, making and collecting activities

I love the art in this and the activities are great in theory. however my kiddos got frustrated at not being able to find many of the nature hunt items since they are not prevalent in our area a more extensive search list would be helpful. Also this book is a one time use if you choose to write and draw in it and if you have two kiddos that like to color their own pages that requires two copies.

A wonderful book to a budding young naturalist learn.

If you REALLY want an interactive nature experience, I highly recommend you get this newly released workbook to go along with Nature's Day: Discover the World of Wonder On Your Doorstep! Written by the same author, and with the same format - broken up by season - this book takes you on a great treasure hunt through the world around you! Your child can learn about different types of flowers and birds and then draw the ones that they see around them. The can color beautiful scenes of the different seasons. And they can learn how to do awesome crafts and activities - like how to make a daisy chain, how to do leaf rubbings, and how to make ice art. This is a great way to get your child interested in nature!I received this book, free of charge, from Quarto Publishing, in exchange for my honest review.
