I absolutely love these fractured fairytales and ordered these ones specifically for story time. The kids love to handle the books and read them out loud to each other so I wanted to buy them in good shape as they would be used a lot. I purchased new, but when they came in the spines were bent and broken. While the book is still readable and I likely won't bother returning it, I am very disappointed in the delivery. They came in a flimsy yellow envelope and had clearly been manhandled to the point of damage. These books are marvelous and I highly recommend, but be careful how they're shipped to you!

I am a librarian and planned this year's story times around fairy tales. I have been using this series of books that retells fairy tales from a different character's point of view. The kids love these! They are funny and appeal even to kids who would normally consider themselves too old for picture books. Great series! Great idea!

This is the hilarious retelling through the Princess' viewpoint. My daughter really loved it. I enjoy this series because the end of the book gives you more books to read for different perspectives. It also includes talking points that are aligned with CC standards. It's very well written and is a really good discussion starter.
