Works great, quick connections with no-leak shut off
Have had these on my RV for over a year now and am very impressed. Yes, they are made of plastic; however, they work better than some brass ones I tried using on our garden hoses. The brass ones had some internal corrosion that prevented them from releasing after one season - I'm talking fused. So I thought I'd try these and have been very impressed. The shut off works well and the only leaks I've seen are at the water spigot connections. I'm okay with a few drips as I didn't want to over tighten. The shut off "feels" like it's made of plastic - which it obviously is - but works flawlessly. As good as a brass ball valve.Using these in conjunction with some brass elbows have made water connections on the RV water panel fast and secure.Don't know how long they will last, but so far, longer than better made brass ones I've tried before. The value for the cost is tremendous and I've not noticed any restrictions on water flow.

Wonderful so far!
Love these connectors! Talked my neighbor into buying a set and purchased another for my parents. I used to use the brass ones, but they fused to the garden hose or started leaking really bad after the first year. I'm thinking that I should have disconnected them and brought them inside over the winter, and I'm thinking I'll do the same thing with these plastic ones to make them last longer. Luckily, they're cheap enough to buy every year even if they break.I use them with everything, the hose nozzle of course, but also used them with pesticide sprayers and my pressure washer. Makes it so easy to switch between different things and no leaks. Hope they last a while!

Makes lawn care so much easier!
I just ordered more because these are so helpful. They are plastic, but durable enough. We love the shut off valve on them to facilitate hose attachment changes while the water is still running, and we also like that they lock in place. No complaints!

Good Quality & Performance Connector
EDEN Products work great.. The only concern I have had is sun easily fades and damages the fitting. Also, I have had a couple fail in the sense that when you disconnect under pressure the water continues to run. Otherwise these are well designed and are of very good quality.

Great Value, No Leaks, Very Durable.
The media could not be loaded. Quick connect, no leaks, durable, and well made. I switch between 1 length of hose to 2 lengths, spray nozzle, sprinkler, and my pressure washer in seconds. No more wrenches or dealing with leaks, just pop off and pop on in seconds. I like that they have shutoffs on them too, that’s an added bonus. Yes, they are made of plastic but I drag my hose up and down the driveway, which is cement, and they work as well as they did the first time I put them on. If you’re thinking about it, just do it. I highly recommend and you won’t be sorry.

Very Good.
Works smoothly and doesn't leak. The rotating locking feature was a bit misunderstood by me. By reading the description, I believed that rotating the sleeve caused the coupling to separate. That is not the case. Separation is caused by pulling the sleeve towards the hose, very similar to most other quick couplings. The rotation of the sleeve is to lock the sleeve in place so that it cannot be pulled back and decouple the fittings. Decoupling is smooth and requires very little hand strength.

The Garden Hack You Didn’t Know You Needed!
The media could not be loaded. If you're like me and spend just enough time in the garden to want things to work right the first time, this Eden connector kit is a total win. I wasn’t expecting to get so excited over hose fittings, but here we are.Why I’m obsessed:LOVE the shut-off valve on the fitting — such a simple but brilliant feature. No more running back to the spigot!Comes with multiple adapters so I can move between sprinklers, sprayers, and hoses without wrestling with threads.Made of sturdy plastic — which I actually prefer. Mixing metal parts can corrode and stick together over time, so this solves that issue before it starts.Color is easy to spot, even in the chaos of garden tools and hose tangles.Quick connect and disconnect is smooth and secure.Feels durable enough to last season after season with daily use.Tiny Tip:Make sure your hose ends are smooth and clean before attaching, or you might get a drip or two. Once on properly — it’s tight!Whether you're a weekend weeder or full-blown plant parent, this is one of those value added upgrades that makes a huge difference in how smooth (and fun!) your garden chores feel. Smart, durable, and designed with real-life gardeners in mind.

Good mix of bits, but not quite that tough
While I have fond memories of the old brass, US made Gilmour quick disconnects, even they wear out eventually, no matter how often the gaskets are replaced. I'm not paying $$ for the overseas made ones that really lack quality, so I took a chance on the Lee Valley ones that look a lot like the Eden brand ones (and interchange with this set well). Lee Valley stopped mail order on them, so Amazon it is.The plastic construction does give me pause, but it is what it is. As far as installing, these go on easily enough (I do use teflon tape on all fittings), and the valves are nice touch to the auto off Lee Valley ones (that eventually do leak). Connecting and disconnecting is easier than the auto off versions, since the pressure forces the fitting tighter, and they don't leak. At least in one season's use.I am taking stars off however, as two of the non-valve fittings broke in my wife's hands, not even in my maws, so I'm not sure how well they will continue to work. For the cost, I don't mind ordering a set every other season, so just something to keep in mind.
