Works Great!
I was worried that my dogs wouldn't like the sound of this, but they were fine with the noise. I was surprised at how much they were okay with it, because I didn't even need to get them used to the trimmer. They just let me use it on them and, since they seemed fine with it, I finished up their nails on the first use of the tool.It worked very well. I used the lowest (1) setting as recommended, and tried to avoid the 2, as that's still in the pet-safe range but near the danger-point of RPM. (You're not supposed to go above 2 on pets at all! 3 and higher would be too much/too hot.) On one dog, I needed to go to 2 for a couple of nails, because for whatever reason my mutt has a few nails that barely were effected by the 1 setting. Otherwise, thankfully, everything was boring and easy.A small tip: plan to charge it when you get it. It comes with a little charge in it already, but the instructions say to charge it before the first use. It comes with a USB charger.

Absolutely terrible!
I’ve only had this item 2 months and so far I can’t replace the drill bit at all, it’s completely jammed. I’ve tried and so have a ton of other people. The power button is broken, it no longer turns on at all. The purple rubber piece on top of the power button has fallen off. It no longer holds a charge at all anymore. I’ve tried returning or replacing it and haven’t be successful. It says it’s ineligible. Don’t buy this!! I’d give it zero stars if I could. A pure waste of money.

Love this but the power butting when pushed doesn't always work.
I love this. The only problem I have is the power butting when pushed doesn't work. It won't shut off or turn off sometimes.

Best I have ever used. “Deebo“approved!
I have had three different nail grinders for my GSD’s and this is by far my favorite.1. Easy to use2. Lots of power with adjustable speed settings3. It has a light right behind the grinding wheel so you can see what you’re doing4. A nail guard in place to make sure you don’t file the them too low.Highly recommended.

Just get the regular rotary tool
Bruh… I’m getting my third warranty (so total of four) rotary tool because after MAX two months, the button stops working. You could press it somewhere between 1 and 100 times and not be guaranteed it’ll turn on—I just stand there with one in each hand clicking and clicking like a game of roulette. Shame because when it does turn on, it works perfectly. Just get the regular black and orange Black and Decker rotary tool. Doesn’t seem like there’s any difference aside from the button, still 8V and everything.

It is quiet and the lower speeds are perfect for smaller dogs. I really like the led light too.
I have 3 Miniature Pinschers 2 of them have been having their nails done by an rotary tool since they were only weeks old. My latest girl and never been exposed to this method of doing nails and fought me all the way, two trims later we are very cooperative. I recommend doing the nails frequently so all that is needed it a quick buzz on each of the nails and it is easier on the dog, maybe every other week. I would recommend this product highly,
