Caught 3 in first 24 hours indoors.
At first I was worried, suction didn't seem strong. During the day a mosquito flying next to my desk ignoring it. But next day I checked had caught 3 overnight ! Didn't realize I was a home to so many. I thought I just had one viscous mosquito as I only ever noticed one flying around.P.S. Previously I tried a large UV zapper (that zapper works great for midges), but mosquitoes ignored it... I read some mosquitoes species DON'T like UV, they think it is daytime .. (time for them to sleep). This on the other hand works great.P.S. Don't be stupid like me... I was curious to see if it had worked... sooo... I opened it as I was counting my kills one mosquito flew off. Unlike a zapper or sticky board they are alive for a while in trap. Luckily at least I was on the lanai. Next time I get curious I will open outside far from home. Maybe inside a large plastic bag and squish anything that moves.P.P.S. I bought with the mosquito attractor scent packet. Packet says works for 8 weeks.

Asian Tiger Mosquitos - Aedes albopictus ...Flew around and laughed at me while sucking my blood.
I wanted it to work...I didn't want to bug bomb my house. So this year has been horrible in San Diego...Those Asian Tiger Mosquitos - Aedes albopictus. So before we left on a 10 day vacation we had bad bad case of Aedes albopictus outside. I got eaten alive packing the car for our trip. When we came home I didn't realize that they had found a source of water in the house and had bred. We started getting eaten alive until I found the source (See picture). Once the source was eliminated in the home I was still killing 7-10 a day. I bought this Trap in hopes it would work. After days of killing Mosquitos within a few feet of the trap. Flying around it and ignoring it....0 had been trap. I will repeat zero, zip, zilch, none had been caught in the trap. House was bug bombed and the Mosquitos seem to be gone. Sorry to say this trap even with the lure just doesn't work.

Arrived used. It had dead mosquitos in it and the attractant had been torn open and stapled shut.
Item arrived used. The attractant had been previously opened and was now stapled shut. The trap was dirty with dead insects in it.

Worked well…for 30 days
The machine was easy to set up and seemed to catch bugs reasonably well. Unfortunately, the fan completely stopped working after 30 days. We received it 9/10 and started using it. I noticed it wasn’t working right on 10/15. For $90, it should work for a lot longer than that. I’m disappointed.

Works well for catching flies indoors
Wasn't sure how well this would work for indoor flies and not mosquitos. It does actually work and has been catching a few flies, the trick is the included sweet sense.

It works well enough, but it is way too expensive for what it does.
This device is basically a cylinder with a fan and a lid that closes when the fan is off. Bugs wonder around, get attracted to the device, then get sucked into the cylinder, where they can't escape due to the spinning fan blades and wind force. When the device is turned off, the fan stops and the lid closes, just in case any bugs get the idea to try and break free.I have this set up in my garage and it works well enough. However, there are a few problems that make this a pass for me. First, the fan is too loud. It only has 1 speed, and generates a low hum much like a regular fan would. However, the cylinder amplifies the noise, which makes it sound louder than it should. Second, the UV light is nothing more than a single tiny LED, which likely doesn't do anything. (I also cannot attest to the heating element, but it never seems to get too warm in my opinion.) Lastly, it is currently listed for $89.99, which seems insane to me considering what you're getting. This device is a hard pass for me at this price. I'd recommend it if the price were more like $30.
