Excellent for ages 3-8
These JOCHA toys are great! There are 4 vehicles: airplane, tug boat, race car, locomotive. These are styled in an old fashioned way and are really cute. The back of the box has pictures and ore information about the old, original models from the late 1800s and early 1900s. There are several ways for children to interact with these. First, a 2 or 3 year old child can simply play pretend with these as all of them have wheels and can be pushed along the floor. The 3 to 4 year child can have a parent add batteries (all vehicles can have batteries added) for extra movement. The 5 to 8 year old child can use the included fat, plastic screw driver to take apart and then put back together the vehicles. This is excellent engineering and building play for these older children. The screws are fat and easy to hold and use, and there is a guide book to help talk apart then put them all back together.

Close, but misses the mark
So close, but something is missing. I'm comparing these to a similar product I bought at five below. I love the idea but I feel like this toy missed the mark. There's a lot of screws that don't seem to contribute to building the vehicles, plus you have to pull them apart because some of the pieces snap together. No instructions, and they're incredibly difficult and are much more involved than the box. Let's on. A 3-year-old can't put these together without an adult. They also don't move very much with the batteries, so that's a waste. The plane and train are the only real usable ones. The other two don't really make sense.
