You cannot beat this NVR for the price!
Not tied to any particular manufacturer, this lovely little NVR only needs a proper hard drive (read the manual sent once you order, it recommends a Seagate HDD that is made for use with a CCTV system, it's not the same as a PC drive, it requires much more intensive use - 24 hour recording = constant use). Unit detected the 4 ONVIF cameras I'd already added to the wireless network, just put an RJ45 cable in to the router, and it formatted the drive, found the cameras (auto detects the protocol), and added the passwords. App easy to setup using the serial number, and I've got a standalone NVR with app' control for up to 16 generic ONVIF cameras. Will tackle port forwarding/full standalone use later. Very pleased with the little box. 😀

Works out of the box
Was a little worried at first as they shipped the NVR in a DVR box!Removed from the box...plugged in to all bits needed--> 1TB 2.5inch HD. Connected to access point router which is connected to switch which is connected to the main router for the house (Mobile Broadband router--Huawei). Connected TV, mouse and power supply. Waited approx 30 seconds....screen showed all 3 of my cameras. NO issues at all. No messing with IP address'...More importantly ..for me...the Phone app connection. Loaded XMeye to phone, registered an account, logged in, scanned 2d barcode and the NVR and cameras were recognised. All good. System works well for recording. GUI is good/easy to use. This NVR box was literally Plug and Play. Changed the Hard Drive initially from 250Gb to 1Tb. Powered off box...changed HDD..powered on box. HDD was identified and started recording straight away. No messing with formatting etc..(like my last box). Actually, tried some of the HDD that were not working with my last NVR (HOSAFE (Aliexpress POS, to be fair it did last a few years)) and they were recognised (formatted) and began recording straight away.So far...so good.

Pleasantly surprised.
First time I've used a dedicated NVR recorder after making do with laptops and external HDD for a few years. I'd read so many poor reviews on these cheaper nvrs but so far everything has run smoothly and my 4 generic IP cams are working perfectly even the PTZ works on each cam. Got a cheap surveillance HDD for the NVR and everything worked seamlessly.Only negative so far is the mouse occasionally stops working and needs reconnecting.

Poor
Unfortunately this unit comes with the instructions for another firmware or device. The instructions they gave me a link to does not correspond to the device either. Rendering them useless.I'm no novice when it comes to tech and electronic equipment. But this has me beat.Out of 5 cameras of 2 different makes that are all ONVIF. only 4 were found and connected. But only 1 camera actually had video output.I know there is nothing wrong with the cameras as I have them all working independently and had so for over a year now.No matter what I've tried it gives the same results. In this day and age where nearly everything is plug n play this shouldn't be happening.I only got the NVR because I didn't want to keep messing about with different apps and having everything going onto SD card on the camera. Ideally it would be better on a large local device storage where I will get a better record time in as much as that it's not restricted by the card.Am now waiting for the seller/manufacturer to get back to me.I'm sure they will eventually. But it's not good value for money if I can't use it.Personally I will probably buy from a different manufacturer and have more reliability.Definitely not recommend.

Nice little NVR
It looks cheap, it is small and looks empty - the whole circuit board is bit bigger than a business card :-) but it is working great. the menus are not super nice, most of cctv recorders have ugly menus, but the functionality is good. there is software for mac as well (M1/M2 compatible too) - again, not super beautiful but it does the job. Ive fitted the circuit board to my diy box with 10" screen together with ssd which makes me nice cctv box. ...remote control and mouse included as well

Very dated OS, impossible App, and wrong instructions.
Avoid, very dated system, I gave it a few stars as it did detect the onvif cameras, but as for setting things up, this was pointless as they take great care to provide the wrong instructions; I did some YouTube trawling and found a video showing the same layout from ten years ago.Returned as aware this was not going to work as I expected.

Does not work with repeaters
Pretty basic, does the job for simple set-ups. It requires that cameras are connected directly to the same router (wired or wireless) that the NVR connects to. If WiFi cameras are futher away and need to be connected through repeaters or the network is more complex (such as involving switches, VLANs) the NVR does not find them in the network, even if all cameras and the NVR are in the same subnet.I gave 3 stars because it works with with directly connected cameras, and the customer support is responsive and tries to be helpful.

Works as described.
Seculink emailed before delivery with manual and advised if I had problems with default password to contact them directly (this did not happen). Installed hard drive. Recognised my IP cameras straight away. Looks great on my TV.

Works GREAT with LOTS of "Bells and Whistles"!
2 MAJOR issues. The "tiny" 2-page, mini-mini print MANUAL leaves so much to be desired! The seller assumes YOU know everything. I have installed a few 'coax' DVRs; but THIS "POE/NVR" has even MORE 'choices', but sadly has NO documentation for MOST features! I may never know the FUNCTIONS I am missing? In example, WHERE do I adjust color balance, brightness and VIVID settings? (I found them and more the hard way).BECAUSE of the LACK of documentation I would NOT recommend this POE recorder to a rookie or as a 'first time' security network recorder. However, if you are willing to invest HOURS of 'hunt-and peck' exploration, these POE Recorders actually are well worth the money!SECOND, know the "ANDROID APP" (VMS) is 100% "terrible" and has NEVER allowed me access to my cameras or Recorder!? Cell Phone access was a priority for me but this APP rejects my account names and passwords every time so you just can't get there from here! In fairness I also mention the "WINDOWS" Version "works GREAT" and is very easy to use.

Seculink 10 canaux 4K NVR (1080p / 3MP / 4MP / 5MP / 8MP
