Good size, comfortable, but some annoyances
I wanted to give 3.5 stars, but 3 seemed too low 😆I bought this futon instead of getting another Walmart brand memory foam futon (this was almost double the price), mostly because the fold-up arms were bigger, so the futon takes up less space in my small room. It also looked a lot comfier. My dad said it was easy to put together, and I like the look. It’s pretty comfortable, but the only thing that makes it more comfortable than the Walmart futon is that you don’t feel the bars under where you sit in the middle. The cushion is decent but feels pretty grainy/lumpy, which is disappointing. The mattress pulls down a bit from the metal arm of the futon as you sit, which isn’t a huge deal but your arm may be resting on the metal instead of the mattress. It is quite wide, so unless you’re super tall you will have to either pull your feet up or have them dangling off the edge. The pillows that make up the back of the couch don’t attach to anything so fall over a lot, which is also super annoying. I will try to put a couch cover over the whole thing and hope it fixes some of that.Overall, it is a decent futon, and great for my space concerns. I love that it has arms on the side that pull up & down, and the mattress is a decent thickness. I’m just not sure that the comfort quality and other small annoyances make it a significantly better value than my previous futon.

3.8 stars, somewhat comfy and aesthetic, but needs more pillows
Couch is small as I knew, but not as comfy as I hoped. It really needs 2 more angled pillows to put on the side or there’s a gap. Probably wouldn’t buy again given the chance, but would be a decent sitter for a small room.

Needs to be against a wall or additional support
Easy to assemble, the general size of a love seat when the arms are up. Copying another reviewer, I added a mattress topper (inside the mattress case; had to cut the ties in the middle), which made it more comfortable, though still not great. I also added large outdoor cushions being the back cushions both to bring them forward and to increase support. The metal bar in the back really needs a wall behind it, because leaning on it tends to loosen it unless there is a wall or heavy furniture behind it. Color and fabric is nice, but a lot like Jean fabric. Over all, it is not my favorite, but I still like it, especially once I added to it. I like having an extra bed available. Basically, it is a futon, and, like most futons, it is not the same as a couch.

Really Good With A Few Tweaks
Overall, I do like this as a choice for small spaces but we made a change to it right out of the box. It looks really nice in the space and doesn't look cheap at all. When we first got it put together, we added a 2 inch thick foam pad to the "mattress" so I couldn't feel the slats through it anymore. It made it 100% more comfortable and it zipped up well. I really like how the arms are completely adjustable in height and makes it customized to be comfortable based on what pillow I am laying down on.After taking my first nap on it, my other complaint are the little fasteners that are placed on the mattress. They make it look cute with the little bunting indentations and keep the mattress layers fitted to the cover... But they scratch me. They are about one inch long, dry pasta noodle shaped fasteners that are good at rotating just the right way to scrape past an arm or leg as you move around. Will it stop me from keeping the couch? No. But it might be something I alter down the road.It is Corgi approved for height and will be a good piece to build around as I continue to decorate this space.

It was very easy to put together until I got to the two ...
This is a VERY cute futon sleeper. It fits perfectly at the end of my queen size bed. It was very easy to put together until I got to the two last screws that are a set of four to hold the arms on. This job would have been 30 mins start to finish had it not ben for that. Instead it took me a little over an hour! I'm 62, 5ft and was doing this by myself. I had to end up hammering the piece that fits into the arm to get it straight. That being said the cushion is very thick but not very soft. As stated in reviews needs something to cushion a bit more. I added a cheap pillow from wally world to both back cushions and they are very stable. Got a swimming noodle and cut in half to put around bars in back in case I move to wall. Grey color is a true grey not as light as picture looks which is perfect for me. Really pretty suede like finish. As for height this is EXTREMELY low even for me. I will figure something out to heighten. NOW for the price. This should definitely NOT be at this price point, It is about 100 overpriced. But that being said it is popular for small spaces! So if you want to spend the money and need small extra sleeping, lounging it IS cute!!
