VERY Sturdy
I was looking for 2 features - sturdy and serration all the way down the blade. This knife has both. Do not hesitate to get these. I like to cup up my veggies and fruit with a serrated knife to hold the food. I use this knife for that. Carrots and pineapple are no problem.

Disappointing
The blades are really nice but the wood handles seem to be drying out. I'll try to protect them with mineral oil or linseed oil but I am disappointed that it's happening. I prefer wooden handles, I'm old school and I have never had this problem with knives before.

Very good
Knives are very sharp. A good value for money. Handles could be a little more bigger and heavier. Use knives constantly now. Still cut and look brand new 05-17-22..

Tang loose in handle, serration is too "pointy" or "extreme" so it shreds many cuts of meat
When they first arrived they seemed very well made. Full tang riveted to the handle with 3 rivets and the serration on the blades seemed sharp (or sharply pointy at the "peak" of each serration. With the handle loosely connected to the tang it gave room for the blade to "wiggle" in the handle. This makes it feel odd when slicing, as if the whole thing is about to come apart in your hands. The extremely pointed serrations REALLY shred tender cuts of meat (like a quality steak, which is why we bought them) because of the pointy, spear-like serrations. We bought these to replace the long-gone Town & Country knives which had the perfect serration by having each "peak" rounded to a much smoother point that really wasn't a point so much as a tiny, rounded surface. That kind of serration is the perfect design, it never dulls and never tears tender steak fibers to shreds. Instead, it cut through steak, and dozens of other foods/items we've used them for over the years. These "Megaflint" knives are just another cheap Chinese rip-off, which pretty much sums up about 75% of Amazon's products. I'm tired of the cheap Chinese knock-offs and the disappointment they bring. After an exhaustive search that took me about 2 hours these were the closest knives I could find and they're nowhere near what we were looking for.But most of all, these may have a full tang, which is a good sign, but the construction is garbage (typical of Chinese made items). Our old Town & Country knives are still going 39 years after we got them, but we only have 3 left since our daughters also love them so much we shared a few with them.I wouldn't give these overly-rough & pointy serrated knives to my worst enemy. I wish I hadn't wasted my money. Next time I'll find knives made in a trustworthy country that prides itself on craftsmanship instead of flashy trash.

Does The Job
I recently purchased a full set of knives with a block. The steak knives included were not satisfactory. I bought this set and I'm very pleased with them plus they match the original block.

Started falling apart within 90 days
Out of the 8 knives, two of them have had rivets just fall right out. Another one has had a large black splotch appear on the wood, within 30 days after arrival. We've only ever handwashed them, never left them to soak; we know how to care for knives properly.

Not Stainless Steel
This item is good quality however they seem to rust in my dishwasher and the word "stainless steel" is not printed on the blade at all. I wish I had noticed that before I bought them.
