It worked - or did it?
Just bought a new low end Canon printer (TS3420 Canadian model) that was not supposed to include ink and took a chance with this ink which I've never tried. Oddly the printer did have cartridges in it but the black was apparently empty or clogged. I put in the Ankink black cartridge and it printed fine. I will try the color cartridge when the current one goes empty. Printer ink cartridges seem to rival precious metals so I am happy to save $ when possible. The big fear is whether 3rd party cartridges will function with the chip canon uses to thwart competition. UPDATE 10/2/2023 The original color cartridge finally ran out . I installed the Ankink cartridge and the printer will not let me print. I tried the steps suggested in the User Guide but had no luck. I guess I have to now say that a good price means nothing if it doesn't work. Oh well, I tried. Update 10/9/2023 ... I replaced the Ankink color cartridge with a real canon cartridge and then the Ankink black cartridge quit working. Let's face it, Canon has done a good job of blocking competition for ink. Until government gets around to stopping this, I'll have to swear off of aftermarket cartridges. You don't save and it's all canon's fault.

Good product at Good price
This is my third time ordering this for my Canon printer. It is a great deal and works just as good as the name brand at a lower price.

They worked fine for a few months, but the printer suddenly rejected them. Ankink made it right
I was able to use these for several months, but one day the printer started misbehaving. All sorts of weird error messages. At first I couldn't imagine it being the cartridges, but I was looking up the strange and inconsistent error messages and one of them referenced the "waste tank," so I wondered if it could be the cartridge. Sure enough, I put the original Canon cartridges back in and the errors went away.I contacted Ankink via Amazon, and even though it was quite a few months past the return period, Ankink quizzed me about the circumstances and then issued a full refund. I didn't expect that. I would rather have reliable cartridges, but I guess the situation (taking OEM and refurbishing them) you can't always control what happens.I actually blame Canon because I believe it's intentional to get you to buy their very expensive cartridges. There's no technical reason you can't put more ink in any of them.

Wrecked my printer. BUYER BEWARE
Thought I would try this ink to save a few bucks. I only put the black in because the color was not out yet. All was well at first. Had printed some things here and there and was going good. Until the other night, I needed a couple of shipping labels, first one printed no problem, and as I started printing the second one I walked away. When I came back later it had not finished printing. Upon further examination it looked like a simple paper jam. I did not look at the error on the screen, I was able to get ahold of the paper and pulled right out, tried starting up again and went right back to an error, flashing a warning light and would not attempt to print. When I looked at the screen it said something to do with the black ink. Didn't say low or anything like that. Just basically that there was an error. When I opened up to examine the cartridge, I realized it had begun leaking and had ran ink back and forth across the entire inside of the printer. And apparently the printer at least knew something was up. Buyer beware on these cartridges, I have never had a problem with Canon factory ink and I guess it is my fault for trying to cheap out.
