Hilarious!!
I love the Investigators graphic novels and this third one is no different. Made me audibly lol at a few points. Fending off baddies, hilarious puns and a whole load of fun, John Patrick Green has written yet another winner! I know a few kids who will be over the moon to see this! And I eagerly await the next book in this series!

Great books for kids, but. A quick read.
My son loved these books when he was reading at this level. The books are funny to kids, and he really enjoyed this one. However the books do finish quite quickly which leaves him wanting more to read in a day or so.👍 pros:✅ elementary age appropriate✅ kids found it funny✅ easy way to get kids into reading👎 Cons:❌ quick read, wish it was longer❌ the books are still new so there aren’t a lot out there for kids yet in the series.Recommendation:If your kid likes these style of comic novels ( dog man, captain underpants, etc.) than I would highly recommend this book for them. It really helped my kids find their love of reading.

Great new series for young readers
My son is a reluctant reader but begs for books from this new series which he says is 5000 times better than DogMan. DogMan books were all he would read on his own until recently so that says a lot!

Big Laughs
Green’s expertly crafted puns and comedic timing make for big laugh-out-loud moments for all ages. However, as the number of characters and overarching plot lines has steadily increased from book to book, that magic balance Green achieves in the first two books has skewed toward action and away from humor. Green writes great characters—uniquely humorous and nuanced—but it might be time to pare back the cast a bit before it turns into a series of cameos. Don’t jump the shark.
