I sought out these solid pins type for a purpose
I have twelve sets of vintage speakers that will be switched in and out and stacks of vintage amps and receivers to test and evaluate. These solid pins work better for me rather than the braided type because they can't fray or break with repeated use. Most of the set screws are not exactly aligned to 90 decrees but work ok with 12 gauge wire.

Size Problem Solved
I recently decided to upgrade my stereo system's speaker wire to a heavier gauge. When I got ready to insert the wire into the back of my amp I found they were too big to fit in the push connectors. This product solved that problem in a great way. It was easy to install the wire ends into the adapter and the quality of the product seems very good. Great solution!

Great product except for 12AWG wire
These right angle banana plugs are a great product on the whole. The material is quality and they look well made and plug into your connections with a firm push. After connecting they aren’t going anywhere! My only issue is they do NOT work for 12AWG wire! I’m running 12AWG speaker wire to my new Klipsch RP 8000-II speakers and the 12 gauge wire proved too thick for the terminal. These plugs secure the wire by using two very small screws and then you complete the job by screwing the “cap” over the secure post. However, the 12 gauge wire is so thick that the screws can’t screw all the way down to sit flush allowing the cap over the screws! I tried screwing the screws so tight I started to strip the flathead groove in the screw. I considered grabbing a metal file and filling down the small exposed section of the screw but after working on the larger speaker project for hours, and knowing that the plugs would be 100% hidden behind the speaker, I got lazy and didn’t do anything g about it. As long as the screws are tight the wire isn’t going anywhere.I’ve used these in the past on smaller 14AWG and 16AWG wire and they work great! So these ARE good products, just know that anything larger than 14AWG wire won’t work without modifying in some way.I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Cheers!

Great Banana Plugs
These plugs are very sturdy with a very good contact inside the terminals.

I like the insulation
These were really straightforward to put together and make good contact with the wire, but what I like best is the insulated rubber sleeves. I always feel weird about the all metal ones because they line up next to each other on the receiver with a couple mm gap. Seems suspect if you ask me. These leave no conductive material exposed when plugged in.

Horrible company!
I have slowly been building up our surround system/Theater room we spent about $4000 on our speakers, along with a good recieved and the last piece I added recently was the 77” Qoled sony A95L tv. I decide to add bannan plugs to the speaker wires since I was doing some re-wiring with the new tv(Sony has the option to turn the a95L into a center speaker which allowed me to go bigger on the screen) while I connector the new banana plugs to my each end of the speaker wires, one had a week link which I realized after connector and lifting the receiver to move to the shelf. I called the company about 20 minutes before they closed and told them one broke and they said to email them pictures. I did this, I get an email back saying they wanted pictures, which I sent, then get another email saying “warranty doesn’t cover misuse, and please explain how this even happened? WTH? I paid for 2 sets of these to cover my speakers. One center, a front right, front left, rear right and real left). It was like $20 bucks for a set. That’s about 2 meals at McDonalds now! I didn’t want to buy a whole 3rd for the one bad one that’s why I contacted the company, but the fact I’m making phone calls, followed by email after email over a $2 piece that cost them probably .50 cents shows they do not stand behind their customer! Funny thing is, it’s not even the whole piece I needed, just the part that was faulty. So half of a unit. After 3-4 emails, of them trying to wiggle out of replacing a part for probably $.50 company cost, I decided to call crutchfield and replace them all, all over again. Our front room tv setup, cost me something close to $8,000 to set up, and they are busting my chops over $2? Even if they sent me an entire new set at $20 customer cost, that’s a joke! All they needed to do was send the one piece that tore, not a set and not a pile of emails trying to not back their product. They have a lot to learn about doing business!

High Quality Right Angle Banana Plugs
The GearIT Right Angle Banana Plug speaker terminations are nicely machined and fit well in the two different brands of speakers I used them on. The included screwdriver is appreciated. Two observations: since GearIT was thoughtful enough to provide a screwdriver, why do they use straight slot screws rather than a Philips head or better, a Torx type head to keep the screwdriver from slipping off those tiny screws? The second observation: why is there rubber insulation inside the housing the screws fit in to secure the speaker wire? I removed the insulation with tweezers but since the point of the plugs is to provide good electrical contact between the wire, the housing, and therefore the banana plug to the speakers, why put the insulation in the housing at all? Not enough to be less than a five star rating for an excellent product, but be sure to have tweezers available when installing the plugs.
