208 Fryar Design LTD Broadmoor Floor Lamp

I have been searching for a lamp like this for quite some time to replace a similarly styled lamp that had seen its better days. The general quality of the lamp is very good, with a nice, solid feel to it. While I dislike that the post is not one continuous piece, but rather several pieces fitted together, leaving somewhat noticeable seams, it probably isn't something that would bother most people, and not off-putting enough for me to return it. The shade is plain, but acceptable. I find this to be a decent lamp, especially for the price.

A little cheaper feel than I expected. It looks nice. love the shade and the arm,however, the frame around the glass table is cheap and does not fit the glass well. Only complaint I have about it. But it affects everything. Every time you put anything on the table, or move it around the table, it feels like it is going to break because the metal around the glass does not fit properly and is loose.

Was looking at negative reviews and determined that they were written by people that probably don’t know a phillips screwdriver from a flathead. Everything fit perfectly except the glass in the metal ring. That was very easily remedied by putting 1/4” pieces of foam between the tabs and the glass. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THAT THEY DIDN’T INCLUDE THE FOAM. Get real people, it only cost around $80. I’m sure you won’t be putting it in your million dollar mansion.

The lamp is just what I wanted. I needed light and a small table next to a glider-rocker in a small area of my bedroom. It fits nicely and is very attractive. If I would change anything the top & bottom posts could be 1 piece each instead of 2.

Tricky assembly..Power cord lays beneath base causing lamp to tilt on carpet

This Floor lamp is very well constructed. The glass does not move and is very sturdy.I bought it because I do not have enough room next to my bed for a nightstand but thisfloor lamp fits perfectly and it comes very securely pack. It is light and easy to move andpick up packed or unpacked. I would recommend this purchase to anyone who needs alamp and a table in a small space.

This lamp is cheap enough but even for this price could be constructed better. The metal trim piece around the glass table is designed poorly and constructed even worse. The size of the trim piece is not even close to the size of the glass and the keeper tabs under the glass are bent so bad that it is impossible to straighten them and tighten to the glass without possibly breaking the glass. We have purchased another table similar to this one at another time that was constructed much better and was much better quality for the same pricing. We purchased 2 and I would send them both back except the way they are packed it is impossible to reuse the factory packing to ship.

Excellent lamp with heavy base, & taller than many other lamps available. Swing arm lets user position 3-way bulb just where light is wanted. Very easy to assemble, but the white plastic packaging is messy.WARNING to others: after 2 years, this lamp socket sparked & burning odor. Fortunately I was home to avoid fire.
