Despite being a fully qualified Nursery Practitioner with almost 30 years experience, it seems that I really need to practise reading the advert carefully and developing my awareness of size. I ordered this set of 160 bees and ladybirds with the intention of making toys and resources to enrich the mini beast learning in my Nursery Playroom. Unfortunately, I had not fully appreciated that these bees and ladybirds are super tiny, despite the advert clearly stating their size and describing them as scrapbook props - The mistake was entirely my own. As you can see from my photo, the ladybirds and bees are so tiny they fit on the tip of my finger - Unfortunately for me, I just cannot think what I can do with these that will be safe for the children in my playroom, aged 2 - 3. This is a real shame because the bees and ladybirds look fantastic - they are of great quality, perfectly smooth and so beautifully painted with tiny little features such as eyes and wings. These would be lovely if you are interested in scrapbooking, or could be used in craft work. Great quality and beautifully detailed just too tiny for my use.
