For years I bought a WHS A4 week to view diary each year, but am not currently living near a WHS store so tried this one from Amazon. This one has advantages over the WHS diaries : - Nice leather cover, which is flexible rather than board like (the diary feels good in your hands and is nicer to flick through). - 2 place ribbons instead of one (in different colours) - as well as week to view you get 12 month to view sections - it has an elastic ribbon to hold the diary shut - it has an elastic ribbon to hold a pen - the paper is slightly off-white which I prefer - the back cover has an inner sleeve which can hold the odd loose item Possible disadvantages compared to the WHS week to view diaries : - no year planner with writing space for the current and next year (definitely a negative - how do you plan your holidays?) - the saturday and sunday spaces are half the size of the mon-fri spaces - so don't do much at the weekend! - the lines are further apart - so each day has 10 lines instead of 15 (personally I prefer the wider 10 lines so this is a plus!) Nice that it's available in 3 colours - as I like to change diary colour each year.

Great diary! Bought the same one last year for my adult son. He gives it a lot of hammering! Previous styles have fallen apart after the first couple of months. This one’s very robust. Great layout. Lots of pages for planning. Arrived in a box too so lovely gift!

We spent some time looking for an academic (mid-year) diary. At £14 we thought it a little expensive. But, that was based on our experience of previous diaries, which really were of low quality in comparison. This diary is well made, the cover is flexible (without being 'floppy') and feels good in the hand. It is a substantial diary with a good layout, and lots of additional pages for notes. I particularly like the two ribbons being different colours, and the side-bar notes spaces for those little things that don't belong in any particular day box. Overall, best diary we have had.

Even though I use my mobile for lots of things, I still like to have a paper diary. Easy to scribble down notes for particular dates, will last a lifetime of memories. The quality of this diary is good, paper is nice to write on. Will be on my short list for next year again.

I have been buying these diaries for a decade - they are the ONLY ones to buy and can be stored indefinately.

Nice planner, but not really an academic year as stops on July 2nd.

A really lovely planner, excellent value for money, really stylish and lovely to use. Off white paper, lovely grain on the cover, feels much more expensive than it is. Will certainly buy again.

Ich habe stundenlang nach so einem Planer gesucht und gefunden. Ich bin begeistert von diesem schlichten, aber wunderschönen Planer! Mich überzeugt die Größe A4, die sehr gute Papier-Qualität, die Aufteilung, die Stifte-Halterung, das Cover und die sehr gute Verarbeitung.

Je suis déçue mais c'est ma faute,car je n'avais pas bien lu les dates de l'agenda...
