Simple and effective way to add an indoor grill or griddle
Simple and easy to use. I find I am using this more than I ever thought I would. It simply sits on top of my existing "center burner", preheat a while and cook. Great for all kinds of cooking once you get use to the temperature control (which will probably vary based on your own center burner's size, BTU output, etc.). Like any cast iron it requires some care - but really no more or any different from any other cast iron. I did lightly season it before first use and clean it up if I do some messy cooking. It is not light but I don't find it that hard to clean, dry and then lightly heat and season with vegetable oil.

Good quality item. Great informational directions with product description and backstory. Included cleaning tools seemed cheap, but actually work really well. Easy to keep seasoned.

Love it. Fits cooktop perfectly. Breakfast cooked all on griddle at the same time. EASY to clean.

Cast Iron Griddle
Not sure how pre-seasoned this griddle is. Everything sticks to it. Like stuck on so bad the food was almost inedable. And, we did grease the pan. Eggs were a disaster, pancakes too.The flat side is very textured instead of smooth so is that the reason for all the stuck on food? We won't be using it for those 2 items again, perhaps just meat. So, we were kind of disappointed in this item. We may try to season it again sometime. Sad it was a disappointment to try using..

Disappointing Purchase — Poor Quality, Rust, and Uneven Cooking
I was really excited to try the Overmont reversible griddle, but it turned out to be a major disappointment:• Rust after just two washes: Despite following the care instructions, the pan developed noticeable rust almost immediately. The manufacturer notes that cast iron “can rust” if not properly dried, but this happened after just two gentle washes—well within normal use .• Difficult to clean: The included scrapers barely help. Food gets stuck in grooves and ridges, and it’s nearly impossible to clean thoroughly without metal tools or harsh scrubbing that can damage the seasoning .• Uneven heating: Even after long preheating, hot spots remained inconsistent. I was expecting “quick, even heating” as advertised , but the reality didn’t live up to the promise.• Pre‑seasoning did not hold up: Though it arrives labeled pre‑seasoned, it lost its non-stick qualities almost immediately and seems to degrade quickly under routine use
