ALDON Innovating Science - Ferrofluid - Magnetic Fluid Demonstration - 50mL

I bought this product as a science toy. It works exactly as advertized, but there are some things to watch out for:1. NEVER let any of this stuff onto a magnet. It will stick to the magnet and is a pain to clean up (it stains things).2. Buy a nice neodymium rare-earth magnet, as your cheap fridge magnets do very little. If you only have cheap magnets, just use a very small amount of ferrofluid.3. Going back to what I said earlier, be careful of where your magnet is. Always have a surface between the fluid and the magnet.4. Play and handle this stuff above your sink, or somewhere you don't mind getting dirty. Keep in mind, ferrofluid is toxic so take that into account.All in all, this is a great product and is a nice gift for anyone over 12. Just be careful, and have fun.

Great for crafts or mini basic science experiments. Not messy to use at all

My son is making items to sell with this, and determined that small bottles are the way to go to get the best results.

This stuff is so cool! But it's super messy and hard to clean off your skin.

Fun item, but it should've been put in a glass bottle by the purchaser. It didn't last in a plasticBottle.

I purchased this for my daughter's 4th grade science project. She wanted to visualize a magnetic field. We also purchased 2 sets of neodymium magnets (the coin shaped ones and a stronger 1" cube) and a petri dish to contain the ferrofluid as we experimented with it. The ferrofluid came nicely packaged and was easy to pour or drop by syringe. We were able to get picturesque results with the stronger cube magnet. Not as exciting results from the weaker coin shaped magnets. I highly recommend this ferrofluid! Know how to use it...we had a few spills and splashes. It will stain!

This is a great starter kit for folks who want to experiment with ferrofluid! Be sure to wear gloves!
