These wipes are almost the next best thing to using a bidet! And, thank goodness for them, and the fact they are flushable! Once you begin using them and appreciate the fresh and clean feeling they create, you'll never want to go back to using just toilet paper. They're particularly refreshing in hot and muggy weather, too. I bought these "Gentle Plus" for the great price Amazon offered. However, for those who suffer with hemorrhoids, or are in postpartum, or at that time of month, or have just had perineal area surgery, I expect these would be the very best type and the most gentle. There are so many instances where these moist wipes are helpful, as for an irritated nose during a cold, in the car when away from home, for wiping hands when you run out of hand wipes and even for removing make-up. Their size is perfect, but I find the thickness is a tad on the thin side, so require a slow and gentle touch to remove just one sheet at a time. Words of caution: Please don't do like I did, without thinking, and add water to an older package that had dried up a little over time. Water really does disintegrate these wipes, quickly and thoroughly, and I ended up with a messy and completely unusable blob. Try to use them up in a timely fashion, because they tend to dry out when stored for too long. Also, you may want to investigate their use if you have a septic tank system. They are usually most economical when purchased in a pack of four or more. As long as these Cottonelle flushable wipes, or ones comparable, are available, I'll continue buying them, no matter what their special features.
