i ordered the grey axolotl and the pink axolotl in XL and L. sizing chart seems to be accurate! the hood part is cute and they also have tails AND pockets. they came vacuum sealed which i thought was weird lol but once they were washed they were soft. pretty solid for the cost!! material is 100% polyester so it can get warm fast but that’s to be expected from most onesies.

I cannot wait to wear this costume to school! Absolutely adorable. Fit is as expected, not too big or small. Great quality and arrives super quick. Arrives in compact package, hang to air out and fluff up material. Def. recommend this awesome look!

Purchased this as a halloween costume and now it has been worn weekly just for fun. Loved it so much more in person than online. It was shipped quickly and was worth the price. Highly recommened.

Been wanting to order one of these axolotl onsies for me and my oartner for the longest time and the reviews all looked pretty promising so I gave these ones a shot. They're super cute, but they do feel pretty cheap. I washed mine when I got them due to the heavy wrinkles from being vacuumed sealed and the fabric balled up a little so I recommend brushing it to keep it nice and soft. The frills did loose a some of its fur for some reason so now there's just these random bald spots so be weary of that I guess. Pockets were lacking, or atleast the right side pocket was as its just to small. I wouldn't excatly say they're worth the price so if you plan on getting these I'd recommend waiting for a sale or something to roll around. It's a good onsie that's very cozy to wear and I'll definitely be buying more later down the line.

This costume is so cute! I got a sz M for my 5th grade girl, she’s about XL I’m kids size for reference. It was baggy so a S would’ve been Fine as well.

The stitching is good, not great or terrible, quality. I like the gills on the hood. I like the fact that it has a zipper. But the zipper is itchy on the inside. The pockets aren't big enough. I like the tail. For being big, it's not uncomfortable to sit. I have a red panda kigu and the tail is always in the way. When you wash it, the gills get all clumpy but once they dry, you can fluff them again. The pink is kinda see through. I bet the yellow one is too. It's okay as long as you are conscious of what you wear under it. I'll probably get the black/gray or green one next.

My son wanted to be Tails for Halloween. Every costume I found only went up to size Large and was too small for him. I figured I would try to find a yellow union suit/onesie and modify it for him. This is the plainest yellow onesie I could find that wasn’t overpriced.The material is thinner than fleece. It’s more like a flannel fleece. It didn’t match the yellow fleece I used to make the tails, but it was close enough. I used pale yellow fleece from Joann.I used a seam ripper to remove the tail and antennae from the hood. I attempted to remove the eyes, but embroidery is a bit more challenging to remove. So I covered those areas with a patch of pale yellow fleece before sewing on Tails face. I cut a rectangle of white fleece to sew into the belly. I could’ve removed the zipper to attach the white fleece and avoid having a yellow seam, but for a costume being worn a few hours I said eff it. It’s fine, functional and still resembles Tails.All in all, I’m happy with my purchase and I’m happy the stitch length was on the looser side because it made seam ripping a breeze!

My son LOVES axolotls. He loves these sacks and wears them daily as a robe. We bought a narwhal last year and he wore it for trick-or-treating for Halloween before daily robe use. Due to his love of axolotls, I decided to get him a new version. My son recently turned 12, and is at the 14th percentile for height and weight - meaning he's tiny. So I bought him the size 11/12 version and it fit him like he was wearing high waters and 3/4 sleeves. I returned it and got a size small in adult - the tail drags, but it fits much better. He prefers the adult version of a zipper rather than the buttons on the kid version. But the fabric on the kids version was much softer and had more of an interesting texture. Overall - he preferred the fabric of the kids, but the zipper and sizing of the adult. He'll need to wear tall shoes for Halloween so his tail doesn't drag - or he can tuck it into the pocket.

I purchased this for my Niece 1.5 years ago now and she wears it constantly. She finds it comfortable, and cozy. It also just looks super fun and cool! I want one for myself when I see her wearing it! haha

We love axolotls and ordered with the hope it would arrive in time for Halloween, but sadly the first shipment was lost. After quite awhile I contacted the seller, who was very responsive - although they did ask for my address and phone number (which made sense to me). Having not actually read the contact form beforehand, I didn't see the warning from Amazon stating not to provide that kind of info until I'd already done it, so I was kinda worried about getting scammed or something... however, true to their word, the seller shipped a new one, which arrived quickly and is super cute! The material is thin and soft, and the gills stick out nicely when you're wearing it - just as pictured.Again, the seller was responsive and provided good communication (even after I stopped replying). I feel like I owe the shop an apology now.Hopefully an honest, positive review will help!
